    Regarding the previous comment: This makes the files appear and be able to be opened. It also enables new files to be created in the Drive via the Storage Access Framework.

    But this is not the problem here. The problem is that the files are not editable/writable once created. Neither via the SAF nor from within the app (unless it is e.g. a spreadsheet, which can be edited via Proton services only).

    This means that if e.g. I copy a text file to Proton Drive, I cannot change this text file by opening it from the Proton Drive location. Instead, I have to edit my original file, delete the file from Proton Drive and copy the modified file again to the same location.

    And, worse: If I have some file that I want to edit on PC and Android and sync via Proton Drive, then everytime I want to edit the file on my Phone, instead of just opening it from Proton Drive, editing it and changes being automatically synced, I need to export the file from Drive to my physical disk, delete the file from its Drive location, modify the local copy and upload it again to the same location on Drive.

    This behavior is really unexpected (and not fixed by making a file available offline) and kind of destroys my use case for Proton Drive.
