Yeap, this would be perfect. Integrate it into the right-hand side-panel with contacts and calendar.
I currently have an open email in my drafts for this kind of thing, but that's not exactly a sophisticated solution.
All it needs is basic text editing and maybe stackable notes of some kind.

Just use GrapheneOS. So good it's endorsed by Ed Snowden.

A highly unrealistic ask.
But just in case somebody at Protonmail is silently rubbing their hands together and giving this real consideration, I would like to request that right off the bat you make it Steam compatible because if you did make an OS I'd be all over it but I can't live without Football Manager.

ProtonMail offers encrypted contacts for both web and mobile applications (https://protonmail.com/blog/encrypted-contacts-manager/). Calendar and note functionality will be released in the future.

Being able to sync Protonmail web and app contacts is a given. Would also like to sync with phone contacts. Can't even import as phone won't recognise the vcard export format.

With Docs you can:
- Write with privacy — Create and edit documents within Proton Drive, knowing your contents are only accessible to you and those you choose to share with.
- Share and invite anyone — Invite other users to view or edit your documents with a single click.
- Collaborate in real-time — Changes are reflected immediately, ensuring every contributor always sees the most up-to-date version.
- View cursors and presence indicators — See who else is viewing or editing the document, enhancing teamwork and communication.
- Leave comments and replies — Add comments to share feedback without editing the document. Comments are visible to all collaborators, keeping everyone in the loop.
- Import and export with ease — You can upload .docx documents, edit them, and download in various formats like .docx, .txt, .md, and HTML.

Yes. Do this. Proton might not be FOSS but its goals and ideals should be more closely aligned to Linux users than those of iOS and Windows. Support us and we'll support you, and know that a significant number of people joined Proton because its a viable alternative to hotmail and gmail (I've never owned an Apple product so don't know if they have an email client).
