Provide more control over alias generation
Email aliases are automatically generated using a pattern like (title)(random number).(random word)(random number)@passinbox.com. The only part of this that the user controls is the title.
If users are not allowed to directly choose aliases, then there should at least be an easy way (like a button) to generate a new random alias. Currently you must close the create dialog and reopen it to get a different alias. The problem is that the random words often have negative connotations, which makes the aliases unacceptable for things like resumes.

Display all labels in the inbox view
I would like very much to be able to display all labels in the inbox view. It can be as an option. This is very important in the organization of messages. Now when I have, for example, "Courier" and "UPS" lables "Courier" "+1" is displayed. And I need "Courier" "UPS" to be displayed. - This is just an example. Labels can be given under the title of the email

Store recovery email in a hashed format
Proton Mail stores recovery mail in a plain text format. Many legal requests access the recovery mail. Since privacy is by default, I don't think Proton should know my alternate email address. Recovery emails should be hashed -exactly passwords are-.

show attachment on top of messages
By defaul proton add attachement at the end of message.
in case of long thread you have to scroll down the whole message in order to check attachments. Adding attachement right after the "header" would be nice5 votes -
Alter or disable orignial email address
I no longer use my original email address due to 99.9% of it being spam. I would like the option of disabling or changing that original address to eliminate my need to empty the spam folder continually (I'm OCD).

"Privacy by Default..." Where is the Independent Push Notification
Stop relying on google for push notifications. You guys are meant to be a privacy oriented service so act like one. This is a repost of the issue which has been going on for way too long.

Shared mailboxes in multi-user plans
For plans with more than one user (Family, Duo, etc.) with custom domains, allow setting up aliases in those domains to one or more mailboxes from the plan.
The feature should be available in the Proton Mail settings.
Proton Pass allows setting up aliases, but they are oriented towards hiding the user's identity, so the custom domain is not available.

Optionally hide addresses in send-from dropdown
Many addresses are used for receiving only. It would be nice to cleanup the send-from drop-down to show only the ones actually used.

Adding IMAP/POP and SMTP support for other email providers in Proton Mail
While I understand that protons first goal is to ensure privacy and emails from other providers like outlook or gmail cannot be as private as emails that run directly through proton it is a hard truth that most of us are still forced to use gmail or outlook.
Mostly because of work, but there are surely even other reasons.
For proton to ultimately become the “main hub” I believe it should allow users to send and receive emails from other providers through SMTP and IMAP/POP
The user is responsible for this and should understand that sending emails through these accounts…

Local Scribe support in Firefox
Considering Proton's push for privacy, Scribe should support Firefox, not just Chromium. Only supporting Google-driven browsers seems somewhat counter to Proton's goal.

Allow Replies to Forwarded Gmail Emails to Use Original Sender’s Address
Similar to how SimipleLogin already works, it would be great if Proton Mail offered the option to reply to emails forwarded from Gmail (or other email services) while using the original Gmail address as the sender’s address in the reply. This feature would be especially valuable for users transitioning to Proton Mail who still need to manage communications through their existing Gmail account. By allowing replies to maintain the original Gmail address, Proton Mail would help ensure a seamless transition, preserving consistency and preventing confusion among recipients who may not yet be familiar with the new Proton Mail address.

Enable Setting Option to Select Sending Email Address
In the settings (likely under 'Messages and composing') allow a checkbox with something to the effect of 'Autofill sending email address with default email'. This would allow users to always autofill the sender with the default, or have the send field empty, forcing users to select which email address they wish to send from.
I often find then when sending new emails it is easy to forget which address I am using and often fail to switch. I think the 20 seconds for delayed sending is insufficient as well to mitigate this issue. This simple toggle box would address all…
