One click between calendar and mail
Please provide a way to switch between calendar and mail with one button click, instead of opening a menu. I'm annoyed every time I want to look at the calendar that I click the 4-dot button, then choose calendar. There is plenty of real-estate in the app to put some tabs or buttons for this.
Also- it would be nice to be able to open the calendar directly from a windows shortcut icon.
I up-voted these:
"It would be great if there was a keyboard shortcut to switch between calendar and mail on the desktop app"

Add 12-Hour Time Format Option to Booking Page Scheduling Tool
I'd like to request that Proton Calendar add a 12-hour time format option (with AM/PM indicators) specifically for the new booking page scheduling tool.
While Proton Calendar may have a general time format setting, the booking page scheduling tool currently displays times exclusively in 24-hour format. This creates confusion for users in regions where 12-hour time is the standard when they share their availability or book meetings with others.

Get rid of Black Friday banner
I have a subscription, so black Friday deals don't pertain to me at the moment. Shoving in an add banner on a premium already paid for service feels cheap... Get rid of it please!

Add a filter to hide emails that are already in the Trash
Idea:
Give users an option to exclude messages that are already in the Trash folder when they search or filter their mailbox. Why this matters:
I have about 30 000 messages, many of which I have already moved to Trash.
When I use the normal “search” or “filter by sender/recipient” function, the results still include those trashed messages.
Because the Trash folder keeps items for 30 days before permanent deletion, the unwanted messages stay visible and clutter the results. What would help:
A simple checkbox or toggle such as “Hide messages in Trash” (or “Exclude trashed mail”) that can be turned on while…23 votes -

Smart Watch support (wearOS Apple Watch)
Since users of samsung/apple/other watches is increasing. I believe it is important to start to support Proton Calendar on it. As it saved users time with watches. Specifically the inclusion of a Tile so that we can see our day's agenda.

Modern contact management with social links
Hello Proton Team,
I really enjoy using Proton Mail and I recently migrated my contacts from iCloud.
One thing that feels currently limited is the Contacts interface and contact management features. Compared to Apple Contacts or Google Contacts, Proton Contacts still feels quite minimal.
It would be amazing to have:
- A more complete and spacious contact interface
- Full-page contact editing/viewing
- Support for social media fields (Instagram, LinkedIn, Mastodon, etc.)
- Custom URL fields with personalized labels
- Richer notes and profile information
- Better organization for modern digital identities
Proton Mail has become a full ecosystem, and having more advanced contact management would…

Separate mail and calendar into different apps
add a separate proton calendar icon to the Proton mail/calendar app, so you can directly open the calendar without opening the mail app.
for example the ms mail and calendar app is one app but it behaves as a mail and a separate calendar app.818 votes -
Group Alias or Shared Account
Current Limitation: Currently, Proton Mail does not allow a single custom email address (alias) to be assigned to multiple user accounts within a Family or Duo plan. When an administrator creates an alias (e.g., info@myfamily.com or support@mybusiness.com), it can only be assigned to one specific user.
This forces users into inefficient workarounds:
Manual Forwarding: One person owns the alias and must set up filters to forward mail to others. This breaks the "shared inbox" experience, as replies come from the individual's address, not the group address, and there is no central view of the conversation history.

Feature Request: Native Retention Policy Support with Backup and Export Integration
Dear Proton Developers,
Retention and deletion management in Proton Mail currently require manual intervention using labels and searches. Although message expiration (self-destruct) and trash/spam auto-delete exist, they don’t provide sufficiently customizable or automated retention control based on user-defined policies.
Proposed improvements:
Introduce native retention policies configurable per folder and/or label, with options like:
Keep emails forever
Keep in inbox for X days, then archive or export automatically
Delete immediately or after specified time periods
Integrate automated export/backup functionality to securely transfer emails to secondary encrypted storage before deletion, enabling safe archiving and compliance.
Provide a user interface to monitor, audit,…

adding docs directly from proton mail to proton drive
It's good to have the option to add attachment docs directly from proton mail to proton drive using a simple click on the proton mail; since right now I have to download it on my computer or my tablet or my cellphone and then upload it into proton drive to review it, save it or even edit it (if it is docs or sheets).

Allow payments in Booking Pages
Integrating the Booking Pages with Stripe, Paypal etc. would be great. I use it for my small business where I meet with clients one on one, and I'd like them to be able to pay for the sessions they book with me.

Allow Comments on Emails
Comments on Emails are a huge time saver.
Labels are good for general actions llike 'Do' 'Await response', 'Read' 'Decide'
Comments are good when you have numerous emails from one sender all with same header.
If one of those emails needs to be found later there are a lot to sift through.
One email with a unique comment saves a lot of time.Eg 'Decision re meeting time' or 'Pay bill by 9Feb26'5 votes -
Calendar widget for android with view options.
The calendar widget for android is horrible. You can only see the first 14 days of the month and that is all you can see.
It needs to have a proper monthly view, a list view that starts on current day and continues for a set number of days.35 votes -
Calendar: "Disable" instead of cancelling an event
Currently, the user is only able to delete an event in case it is cancelled. In such a case, the information about the canceled event is permanently lost.
Instead, I as a user would like to have an option to cancel or disable an event, but to keep in my calendar marked for instance by a strikethrough label. The disabled event might be deleted later.
Thus, the canceled event may remember the user of any further or future action or task.
