  1. Export function for Contacts

Please allow exporting contacts to .csv.

This would also enable advanced editing (e.g. export to .csv, edit in a spreadsheet program, and then import back).

  2. Proper Birthday Age Tracking

Please change how Proton calendar birthdays work. Birthdays should store a birth date, not just a recurring event. Apple Calendar calculates and displays the age each year, for example “Anthony’s 22nd Birthday.” Proton should implement a dedicated Birthday field with a birth date you can set so the calendar automatically shows the correct age every year on the birthday.

  3. Add Advanced Sieve Extensions: Mailbox, Notifications, Body Filtering...

Proton Mail's Sieve implementation is missing several powerful RFC-standard extensions that would unlock advanced email automation.

Here are the key missing features: Mailbox Creation and Checking (RFC5490, RFC9042) - Automatically create folders and organize emails by sender domain without manual setup.

Notifications (RFC5435/RFC5436) - Send SMS or email notifications when specific emails arrive instead of just filing them.

Body Content Filtering (RFC5173) - Filter emails based on message body content, not just headers, for smarter spam detection.

Edit Headers (RFC5293) - Modify or add custom headers to emails as they arrive.

File Carbon Copy (RFC8580) - Keep automatic copies of…

  4. Auto-Advance to Next Conversation

Show the next conversation instead of your inbox after you delete or archive a conversation. I'm big into saving clicks. I go through 300 emails a day sometimes. So being able to skip going back to the inbox after I delete or archive a conversation and instead go right to the next conversation would be a great feature.

  5. Easy to copy events in Proton Calendar.

I have to put my working shifts into my calendar. Those are similar times but unregular days.
It would be great to select the existing event - and then be able to select each day I want a copy of it.

  6. Compact view

After seeing the new layout for the Android app, it looks like a good improvement, but there is something that I think is missing: a compact view. I do not nneed to see the attachments, a clip is enough. I do not need so big labels.
If space is used for sender and subject alone, more mails fit into the screen.

  7. Unlimited custom‑domain forwarding for paid Proton Unlimited Mail accounts

Unlimited custom‑domain forwarding for paid Proton Mail accounts
    Brief request
Since switching to Proton Mail, I’ve noticed a missing feature: the ability to forward an unlimited number of addresses from my own domain (e.g., whatever@mydomain.com).
Currently, for Proton Unlimited, each forwarding address must be one of the 15 “authorized” addresses listed in the account settings. For a paid plan this restriction feels annoying.

Your strategy, is may be to push people to subscribe for Proton Family, which has a limit of 90 adresses e-mail/alias. But come on, you push too far.

I would like to be able to

  8. Link to Proton Mail in Proton Calendar sidebar.

Could you add link to Proton Mail in Proton Calendar sidebar or offer it as an option? Currently, only Contacts link appears. I noted that a link to Calendar appears in the Mail sidebar albeit limited.

  9. Email translation in mobile app

the ability to translate a message within the mail app interface in one click, just changes the language while keeping the email in its original layout.

this feature exists in Gmail. as an expat living in another country, I used it on a daily basis. it's a big deal, being able to display a message as is but translated to your language, rather than having to copy paste it into a separate translator app.

  11. Add support for ntfy push notifications

We should not have to use google play services to get notifications. Luckily there is ntfy.sh which is an open source alternative. Apps like Element already support it.

  12. Email signature preview

When adding HTML code to generate the email signature it would have been so helpful to have a preview so one can see what it actually looks like.

  13. Proton Doc integration

My family likes to plan travels in a Proton doc. Would be great if I could directly show and edit a (part of a) calendar inside a Proton Doc!

  14. Stop labeling emails as [Possible phishing attempt]

Probably 50% of my emails have this label. 0% of them are phishing attempts. Also actual phishing emails are not flagged (I actually just received one 10 minutes after submitting this). If you're not able to even remotely accurately label them (which you aren't), you should just stop. It's annoying and obscures the actual subject line of the email.

  16. Change owner of the calendar

I changed my 'primary' email address. Which also means that it gets changed for my Calendar.
BUT; all the calendars are still linked (shown) to be part of one of my other email address.

Request: I want it to be possible to change the email address to which my Calendar is linked.

  19. Option to not revert to iPhone default passcode when FaceID fails.

Using FaceID is very useful, but not that secure if your iPhone system passcode has been compromised.

When iOS FaceID fails there should be an option to revert to the Protonmail Application pin code instead of the iOS system passcode. This way a compromised phone wouldn't immediately give access to email as well.

  20. Have a "do not include attachments" option when replying/forwarding

When all attachments are perpetually included in a long email chain, we're sending a lot of unnecessary data, which wastes space, bandwidth and to some extent increases exposure information being intercepted. Some emails contain a lot of small attachments and it is tedious to delete them all manually. Ideally, there would be a "do not include attachments" setting or button.
