Booking Page - Add option to Approve booking
I would like to have an option to approve a booking before it is considered accepted. Right now it is automatically accepted. What I would like an option to do, is set it up so that once someone book a slot, it will be marked as unavailable in the front end, bt in the email to the custommer it is made clear that the booking is not yet accepted, but pending approval.
Once I have look at it, i can approve it and it will automatically let the customer know its all good and turn it into an accepted booking, Or i might need more information and contactem for more information first.

Smart Watch support (wearOS Apple Watch)
Since users of samsung/apple/other watches is increasing. I believe it is important to start to support Proton Calendar on it. As it saved users time with watches. Specifically the inclusion of a Tile so that we can see our day's agenda.

pop out draft message as a separate window
In the desktop ProtonMail app for Mac, which includes mail and calendar as different tabs/views, I really need the ability to pop out a draft message as a separate window while I am composing it. I often receive messages asking me to list my availability for a meeting. In Outlook, I am able to pop out the message so I can look at my calendar while drafting the message. In the ProtonMail desktop app, the draft is stuck in the mail view, so I need to remember or write down information somewhere else after looking my calendar.

Avoid exposing core email addresses
So here's something about the behaviour of Proton Mail I find puzzling and concerning. When I received a mail sent to one of my aliases from an unwanted source in the desktop app for Mac, I clicked on the option to disable the alias. I was then presented with a dialog box USING ONE OF MY CORE NON-ALIAS EMAIL ADDRESSES to send an email to unsubscribe from the sender's email list. This seems to be the worst response for my my privacy - why on earth would I want to send an email from one of my core email addresses and thereby expose it, when all I wanted to do was disable an alias????
Surely a much better response would be to send the unsubscribe request using the alias address? Or NOT to email an unsubscribe request at all, but rather, to go to Proton Pass and simply disable the email alias there. So here's something about the behaviour of Proton Mail I find puzzling and concerning. Separate mail and calendar into different apps
add a separate proton calendar icon to the Proton mail/calendar app, so you can directly open the calendar without opening the mail app.
for example the ms mail and calendar app is one app but it behaves as a mail and a separate calendar app.794 votes -
Option to hide or rearrange unused categories (Views, Folders, Labels) in the left sidebar
While I can see how many people will use the Folders, Views, and Labels in the left sidebar, I only use Labels; I don't really have use for Views and I don't use Folders. I would like the option to remove them from the sidebar, or at least move them to the bottom of the sidebar so they're not taking up space above my Labels.

Appointment Scheduling in Proton Calendar – Missing Key Features Compared to Calendly
The current appointment scheduling feature in Proton Calendar is not yet a full replacement for tools like Calendly or TidyCal. Several important functionalities are missing.
- Limited Booking Form Fields
Currently, the booking form only includes:
Name
Email addressMissing features:
Address details (street, city, postal code)
Phone number
Booking subject (ideally with predefined selectable options)
Free text field for additional informationThese fields are essential for collecting relevant client information before appointments.
- Display of Organizer Email Address
The booking page automatically displays the organizer’s Proton email address.
Issue:
I use a custom domain email for my practice.
My private Proton email address should not be visible.Suggested improvements:
Allow users to choose which email address is displayed
Option to hide the email address completely- Missing Website Integration Options
Currently, only a booking link is available.
Missing feature:
Embed code for integrating the booking page directly into websites
ConclusionWhile the feature is a good start, it lacks several important capabilities that tools like Calendly or TidyCal already provide. Enhancing these areas would significantly improve usability and make Proton Calendar a more complete solution.

Appointment scheduling feature in Proton Calendar - Calendly like features are missing
In my opinion, this isn't a 100% replacement for the functionality offered by Calendly or TidyCal.
For the person making the booking, there's only a name and email address field. With Calendly and TidyCal, I have informative forms that my clients can fill out before booking. I'm missing address details (street, city, postal code, phone number) as well as a subject for the booking, ideally with a predefined selection that the client can choose and above all a text field.
Furthermore, my main Proton email address is displayed below the organizer in the booking field. Since I use my own domain address, which is associated with my practice, I should be able to choose what is displayed, as I don't want my private Proton address to appear there. Ideally, I would prefer that no email address be displayed at all.
Besides a link to the booking page, an embed code for websites would also be great.
It would be nice if these things could be improved.

Feature Request: Native Retention Policy Support with Backup and Export Integration
Dear Proton Developers,
Retention and deletion management in Proton Mail currently require manual intervention using labels and searches. Although message expiration (self-destruct) and trash/spam auto-delete exist, they don’t provide sufficiently customizable or automated retention control based on user-defined policies.
Proposed improvements:
Introduce native retention policies configurable per folder and/or label, with options like:
Keep emails forever
Keep in inbox for X days, then archive or export automatically
Delete immediately or after specified time periods
Integrate automated export/backup functionality to securely transfer emails to secondary encrypted storage before deletion, enabling safe archiving and compliance.
Provide a user interface to monitor, audit, override, and adjust retention settings easily.
Ensure these policies complement existing expiration and auto-deletion features for comprehensive lifecycle management.
This would greatly reduce the complexity of maintaining mailbox hygiene, increase user confidence in data retention, and align Proton Mail with best practices for privacy and compliance.
Thank you for considering this essential feature!

One click between calendar and mail
Please provide a way to switch between calendar and mail with one button click, instead of opening a menu. I'm annoyed every time I want to look at the calendar that I click the 4-dot button, then choose calendar. There is plenty of real-estate in the app to put some tabs or buttons for this.
Also- it would be nice to be able to open the calendar directly from a windows shortcut icon.
I up-voted these:

Using Proton Calendar for Better Daily and Meal Planning
I really appreciate how Proton Mail Calendar continues to improve usability and organization — having a reliable calendar that syncs across devices makes planning my day so much easier. I often schedule everything from work tasks to meal planning, and it’s handy to have reminders for everything.
On days when I’m planning out lunch or dinner with friends, having access to clear resources online makes that part of my schedule easier too. For example, when ordering takeout or deciding on group meals, I like to check out the Wingstop Menu to compare flavors, combos, and options before finalizing plans. If anyone else here enjoys planning meals ahead of time or wants to see a detailed breakdown of Wingstop items and flavors, you can check out the https://wingstopmenus.us/ Wingstop Menu.
Thanks again to the Proton Mail team for consistently enhancing Calendar features — it really helps with both work and life planning!

Description field in Booking Page
The booking page is a great option but would suggest to add a text field where somebody can briefly describe the intention of the booking.

Remind me if no reply
I frequently send emails where I need to follow up at a later time. An example might be boarding passes for a flight, or a thread that will be relevant when I meet a particular contact on a certain day.
Boomerang for Gmail does this well. I can schedule an email to return to my inbox at a given time. But what really makes this useful is that I can define a condition in some cases. "If plumber does not respond within two weeks, THEN return this email to my inbox" or better yet "If plumber does not respond within two weeks, THEN send this follow-up email that I've drafted."
This feature is critical for me to migrate to a new email platform, as it is highly potent for productive workflow.

Currently, the location icon and address data in a Proton Calendar appt. does nothing. It would be nice if clicking on it would open a map program such as Google Maps to get directions to appt.

Calendar Reminders/Tasks with Checkboxes
Adding a task checkbox to an individual calendar item that can be viewed in day/week/month views and activated in agenda would greatly help to manage and track task-based items like financial dates each month, similar to how Apple reminders works with repeating tasks, only incorporated into the calendar.

Snooze Sent Mail
In Gmail, you can snooze any messages, including those that are sent. It would be great to have this feature in Proton Mail. I use it to ensure I follow up on emails I have sent and have not received a response by a certain time.
