Shared Mailboxes & Team Inboxes: The Missing Link for M365 Business Migrations
Hello Proton Team,
We are currently migrating our business from Microsoft 365 to Proton. The single largest operational gap in our day-to-day workflow is the lack of native shared mailboxes for generic team addresses such as office@, invoices@, or support@. For many European SMEs, this missing functionality is the primary blocker that prevents them from switching or causes them to abandon the migration.
The Practical Problem:
In almost every business, central mailboxes must be accessed and monitored by multiple employees simultaneously—often with different permission levels (e.g., read-only access for field technicians/installers, full processing and sending rights for back-office staff).…

How Can I Export Office 365 Emails to PST for Backup?
Exporting emails from Office 365 to PST file format is an effective approach to saving your important emails, retaining the mailbox data or performing email migration. The method involves two different approaches depending on whether you need to export a single mailbox or a number of mailboxes simultaneously.
In case you need to export a single mailbox, then there are several options offered by Microsoft. However, for more advanced users there is a special software, called
Kernel Export Office 365 to PST which will help you export your primary, shared and archive mailboxes. Additionally, this software offers a possibility of…1 vote -
Aggressive Notifications in App
To the Design Team at Proton -
there has been a habit of using really loud, aggressive colours and dominant intrusive
notification placement within the frame of the Mail / Calendar app. Please can you consider RELAXING your visual language and allow a bit more grace,
proportionality and good taste back into the life of your products. The current software update reminder places a bright yellow bar end to end of the
program window using a full 10% of the app's vertical footprint. This is what one might
expect of an urgent government security warning - not a software update…1 vote -
Option to unlock app using Master Password instead of only Biometrics/PIN
I would like to request an option to use the Master Password to unlock the Proton app (such as Proton Mail).
Currently, the app lock options are limited to biometrics and a PIN. However, I want the ability to unlock it using my Master Password. Here is why:
Keep Notifications Active: I do not want to log out of the app because logging out stops new email notifications (with message titles). I need to keep the app logged in to receive notifications.
Security vs. Convenience: To prevent unauthorized access, I need the app to be locked. However, since I rarely…1 vote -

Missing Ability to Search All Mail for Unread Emails
As I archive emails in bulk, despite trying to mark them all read first, I accumulate stray unread emails in "All Mail". When I search for unread emails, it only searches within the range of ONE page of a huge paginated list.
When I search for Unread emails, I want the RESULT SET to be just the unread emails from ALL MAIL.
The only way to reset those to remove the count is to go page by page by page.
I miss the feature in gmail to search, find, and act on such things.

Maximize the event editor to full screen on desktop (like Google Calendar)
On desktop, "More options" and the pencil icon open the event editor in a fixed, narrow window, about 600 px wide, even on a large monitor. The description box grows to about 5 lines and then scrolls, and there is no way to enlarge the window. Writing an agenda, meeting notes, directions or any longer text means working inside a small box in the middle of an empty screen.
Proposal
1. A maximize / expand button in the editor header that switches it to full screen (or a full-page view) and back.
2. A setting to always open the editor…1 vote -

How Can I Export Yahoo Mail to PST on a New Computer?
Setting up a new computer often means making sure important email records remain accessible. Creating a separate mailbox backup helps preserve business correspondence, personal messages, and attachments for future use. Before beginning, confirm your Yahoo account access and choose a secure location with enough space to store the exported data.
The Aryson Yahoo Backup Tool offers options for backing up Yahoo mailbox data in supported formats. Users can configure the export settings to suit their backup needs and save a separate copy for later access.
If you need to export Yahoo mail to PST, choose PST as the output format…

Option to adjust vertical density in Calendar mobile app
In the Google Calendar app, I can see from 8am to 11pm in one screen. In the Proton Calendar app, I can only see from 8am to 5pm without scrolling. Ability to adjust the vertical density, such as by pinching on the times on the left side of the screen, would let me see more of my day at a glance.

Option to adjust text size in Calendar mobile app
In the weekly view in the mobile calendar app, the text in the event blocks is bigger than I would prefer, causing even short event titles to have words split between lines. Ability to reduce text size would make my events easier to read at a glance.
Example: Event titled WCR shows as:
WC
RIf I could make the text a little smaller it could all fit on one line.

timezone for each event
Each event needs to be able to have its own timezone selected. Now that business is global the calendar needs to be able to be useful in more than one (or two) timezones. Currently, there is no function to select the timezone for the event you are entering (they all just appear to be saved under the timezone of the calendar) which is not useful or effective. Have the timezone next to the date/time drop down selected for each event.

Move email to recently used folder
Like in Outlook, it would be great to have an option to quickly select a folder to move an email to. Let's say I just moved an email from my Inbox to a folder named 'Family' and shortly thereafter I come across another email that I would like to move to that same folder. Instead of scrolling all the way to the folder Family (which can take a while if you have a long list of folders), it would be convenient to have a menu with the e.g. 5 folder last used and to click on the relevant one to…

Fix contacts presented when typing into the To: field in Proton Mail app for iOS
I'm creating a new email message in the Proton Mail app for iOS (iphone 16+).
I start typing in the To: field ... the contacts I see there bear little to no relationship to the letters I've typed until about the third character.
If the contacts I see were influenced by the recent messages I've sent, or to the spelling of email addresses, the choices would be more useful than whatever approach is currently used.1 vote -
subfolders
There is currently not the option to create subfolders to aid organization. The feedback I have read has been marked completed but it is not actually showing up as an option. Within a folder you should be able to create as many subfolders as needed to organize data... currently, you can only add one folder under a main folder and there is no conceivable way to organize them (you can't even move them around to the order you choose). For example, 1) Main folder; 1a) sub folder 1a main, with 1a1) sub folder 1a1, 1a2) sub folder 1a2, 1a3) sub…

Proton Mail footer: select language indipendently from UI interface language
Currently, the language of the Proton Mail email footer matches the 'Default Language' setting found in Settings > Language. It would be beneficial to decouple the language used for the post-authentication user interface from the language used for external-facing texts, such as the email footer.
