Enable the same options available via the browser in the mobile app also
Currently more options are available via the browser protonmail and protoncalendar than via the equivalent mobile apps.
It would be good to have the same options/settings in the mobile apps too (browser version has more), so that we do not have to logon to the browser to make the same changes. Also, new users may think the options do not exist if they do not find them in the app.3 votes -

Auto-Delete Spam & Trash for free
We already have the ability to automatically delete the Spam and Trash folders. But Free accounts don't have that.
It would be a very nice convenience feature, and I don't think it really costs that much money to do that.
Other private email providers already have this feature, so Proton is standing out by not having it for free.

Allow unread emails in custom folders to still show up as notifications in iOS
First, I have multiple aliases set up and have set up filters to redirect emails to each alias into different folders. The problem is, that since those emails are redirected to folders and no longer reside in my inbox, the notification icon on the app listing the number of new, unread emails no longer displays at all. I still get banner notifications, but I would much rather have a simple red circle notification displaying the number of unread email, regardless of whether it is in another folder.

Non-Scrolling Message Header
Make the message header fixed (non-scrolling) so that we can scroll down through the entire message and take action (delete, forward, etc.) without having to scroll back up to the top. This would reduce several irritations per day.

time zone
Display the time zone in the email display for calendar invitations and events. When someone sends an .ics calendar invitation, I have no way of knowing what time zone the event is in, rendering the invitation almost entirely useless.

Allow to disable notifications in the Android app for just one account (or selected accounts) when signed in with multiple accounts
Being able to log into multiple accounts and switching between them in the Android app is perfect. However, I do not wish to receive notifications for all of my logged accounts.

Email opening in modal
I prefer using Column layout in Proton Mail but what I find awkward in that kind of setting is to read emails on the right side of the screen. What I'm proposing is to add an option to open emails in the center of a screen in modal-like fashion. That would be great. (:

Better general support sending encrypted mail outside of protonmail
What currently exists appears to be sufficient, but it is not nearly as good as it could be. I have seen other posts that request these ideas before, and I would like to amalgamate them here.
Lookup public keys through external services, such as keys.openpgp.org
Safety indicator to ensure the e-mail you are sending is encrypted when sending to non protonmail contacts
Allowing encryption to be managed with an external application through proton bridge, (including a confirmation dialog on proton bridge to prevent accidentally sending unencrypted e-mail)
Any of the above ideas would enhance the experience that is currently available,…

Outlook for IOS
I am considering moving our domain to Proton, however some users require Outlook for IOS. Are there plans for Outlook /IOS to access Proton mail? either by POP or IMAP?

Allow new users (proton.me) to use legacy domain (protonmail.com)
"proton.me" and "pm.me" (current) is short and good, but few services--such as PlayStation account--does not accept both domain. However, when I test "protonmail.com" (legacy) as a domain, it got accepted, but it cannot retrieve mail simply because I am new to Proton Mail, so I don't own the domain.
Anyway, about the PlayStation account, I had to use my Google Mail (gmail.com).Please provide the option to use the legacy domain for new users. It will be useful for anyone who had similar issue as me. Sorry and thank you.

unhide the "edit" icon in Contacts list
I have a screenshot I wish I could share on THIS POST because it will help you see what I am describing.
In proton MAIL, the Contacts sidebar, I search for a contact. If I hover mouse over one contact, two icons appears over the contact... a pencil/COMPOSE and 2-squares/COPY. What is missing?? We need a third icon next to those 2 icons for EDIT (to edit the contact.)

Sort/filter by email address used. Everything goes to 1 inbox for all proton email addresses for a user.
I'd like a way to filter or select which email address I'm using. I thought I'd be able to use a primary email and then a secondary to use for things such as website signups/promotional use. I want all that subscription stuff to go to a seperate place and only look at it when I want, not every time I'm in my primary inbox. I thought that would kind of be the point of multiple email addresses but everything is just an alias for the primary...I don't quite get the point or usefulness.

Dissociate / Transfert an alias from a Proton Mail Account to anorher one
Be able to extract an alias from a Proton Mail Account and associate it to another Proton Mail Account (already existing or to be created).
Alternative : Be able to access by password the mails linked to one alias but not the other alias of the Mail Accounts. My problem is that I want to share my alias to different users (typical contact@company.com) but I don't wznt these users to habr access to my password or the mails received from the other alias.

Additional Appearance Customization
A while ago, a purple indicator was added to the left of each unread message, which seemed superfluous because unread messages were already highlighted in white. It looks like other users requested this feature, but I don't want it. Just recently, I noticed that the titles of read messages have been grayed out, which makes them hard to read in some themes. This adds a third way to distinguish between read and unread emails - but there only needs to be one, and it shouldn't interfere with my ability to read. Highlight the domain in the Link Confirmation window
I suggest when a user clicks a link in an email and have the "Link Confirmation" enabled that the confirmation window highlights the actual top level domain. Many links are extremely long and some phishing/malicious emails will create links that are meant to look like they're going to a legitimate site when they're not such as http:microsoft.com.baddomain.me/login. In this case you would highlight the "baddomain.me" so the user knows they're not going to microsoft.com. It would be a simple feature to add and would help protect non-technical users. Thank you.

Implement a simple Focused / Other inbox split
I love Proton Mail but I cannot move all my businesses and main personal email over as I need a way to separate all the spam/notifications/updates from my need to see email. Can you please implement in a secure/private way, a Focused inbox where email sent from my contacts (for example) is routed there, and all other email is routed to an Other folder. This would make managing mail possible.
