Add Editheader Sieve extension
It is my understanding that the deleteheader and addheader actions could be used to effectively modify the subject of an e-mail.

Enable Documented Navigation Keyboard Shortcuts
The keyboard shortcuts that begin with holding down "g" and striking another key do not work at all. (I'm on Firefox or the desktop app in Ubuntu 24.04.1 as of Jan 19, 2025.) Instead, the second key is registered. For example, using "g+i" results in moving the current email to the inbox instead of navigating to the inbox, as noted in the documentation about keyboard shortcuts. Basically, it's false advertising that these shortcuts are supported.

Support for postal code first, followed by the largest to the smallest unit of size for contact addresses in Asia (Japan, Korea, China…)
The order in which addresses in Japan, China and Korea are written down is reversed when compared to the western way: postal code first, followed by the largest to the smallest unit of size.
1) Postal Code
2) Region
3) City
4) Street AddressAn option to specify this would be useful, both for displaying in Proton Mail contact pop-up, and the copy-to-clipboard button.
Currently, I need to manually reorder the address parts once copied in my clipboard.
Ideally, this should be an option at the address level, as the person may have multiple addresses (one in…

Edit contacts better
I would like to have a larger contact interface. Preferably a separate app. Naming, sorting, editing, assigning groups, etc.
That would be my wish:
Create name, email, address, date of birth, phone number etc, assign them to groups and then link them to other Proton apps. Do you have a date of birth of the contact? It appears automatically in the Proton calendar. Ideally a ‘separate calendar’ such as show/hide public holidays.
The person has an email address? This email is then integrated in the Proton Mail app.2 votes -

Print draft email
For the life of me, I cannot find a way to print draft emails. This should be possible, please. I still like to edit hard copies of sensitive email by hand, so printing draft emails is a critical need.

Move notification toasts to the right side
When I let my inbox fill up to the bottom and sit down to organize it, the notification that I can undo my action piles up at the bottom center. While this visually looks nice, after the 2nd or 3rd one piles up, I cannot click on the action buttons in the emails at the bottom.
Please move the notification area to the right so it won't interfere with the mailing list.

Only upload new photos to Proton Drive
When commencing photo backup/upload from mobile device, only upload new photographs from the date of activation to Proton Drive.
Mostly previous photos would already be backed up elsewhere.

Better Simple Login Integrations
Better integrations with simple login to make the UX smoother for some common operations:
- It would be useful if when looking at an email in the to or from field in your inbox, if the email is one of your alias' in a synced simple login account to show who the email is sent to and description from simple login.
- If your account is synced with simple login it would be useful when composing emails to be able to choose any of your aliases that you have configured in simple login from the from dialog box without having to manually…

Indipendet mailboxes for the same user
Hello,
activating the Proton Business Suite I have 20 mailboxes per users they are not indipendent.
I've tried to organize them with folders and filters but it's not possible to replicate a mailbox feature with predefiniter folders as:
Inbox
Draft
Sent
Deleted
etc etc
The lack of this make very difficult to manage the different addresses and expose to human errors since you have to manually select the from mailbox.
I love proton suite but the lack of this basic feature make impossible for me the complete migration from MS or Google.

Phone contacts in Proton Mail
Do you have or are you planning to create a Messenger service like WhatsApp or a way to use WhatsApp with my contacts stored in protonmail, I am using an android phone as well as computers and don’t like the fact that google store all my contact details as well as other things, I have imported all my phone contacts into protonmail and will try to use protonmail to make calls in the future, protonmail isn’t as user friendly to make calls unless you can advise me on how to make a shortcut on my phone to go directly to…

Show recipient E-mail in the inbox without opening the email
When having multiple e-mail addresses added to your account it is sometimes annoying to always check which email was sent to which address. When I'm working for example I only want to read the emails sent to my business account in this time and would like to see or ignore the others at this time. It would be nice to be able to see recipient for each emails in the inbox. It does not have to be default but if it could be activated on the 3 dots it would be amazing. A different idea to help out there is…

Viewing area for composing needs to be larger
The viewing area for composing needs to be larger. There is not enough viewing area when composing a message. Either add the ability to pop out the composer into its own window, or give the user the ability to minimize the toolbar while composing.

Extension of maximum period for self-destruction feature to more than 730 days
Currently, it is only possible to activate the self-destruction for an email message for maximum period of 730 days. However, as a business user, due to the GPDR rules I have typically longer periods after which emails should be deleted, e.g. 10 years for payment-related emails.
Therefore, it would be great to extent the maximum period to 10 years for the self-destruction feature, so I don't have to re-visit the emails manually after the time has passed and delete them manually.
Additionally, as it is the case in Microsoft Outlook web app, it would be nice to add the option…

Allow scheduling of Password-Protected Emails
Unless I am missing it, it does not appear possible to schedule a password-protected email to be sent in the future. (When one of those two options is selected, the other one option disappears, and the email is immediately put into the queue for sending by the selected option.) I had assumed that both features could be applied, as with regular encrypted or unencrypted emails, and would find it tremendously helpful if they could be.

New unread emails count / customize counter and highlight
Protonmail folders currently show the number of unread emails within them, but I often leave unread emails to act on later, meaning I don't have an obvious way to see if there are new emails in a given folder when i come back.
In order to help with this, I'd like to suggest highlighting the "unread emails" counter when a folder contains new unread emails since I last opened it.
Alternatively, we could imagine making this more customizable as other comments suggest, we could allow showing the (total / unread / new unread / starred) count on the folder, and…

Proof of life for the digital inheritance
My suggestion is for a feature that would be very useful for those who have valuable information to pass on to their descendants or loved ones.
In Proton mail it would be as simple as sending emails to preconfigured addresses containing some information (could be a treasure map that only the recipient understands, to find some valuable information or item), but only when the account inactivity is for more than the configured time span. More than a year for example.
This would be very useful in some bitcoin inheritance schemes for example.
