    please provide a Proton bridge build for Windows on ARM devices. Would love to use Proton mail on thunderbird on my Surface Pro X without emulation.

  2. Selective import from gmail

    I'd like to switch completely to Proton Mail, but today it's impossible because Gmail is too powerful to sort emails (promotions, social networks, etc). I'd like to be able to import only the emails in my inbox, or those with certain labels. Or, ideally, to have the same sorting on Proton Mail. At the moment, having all my messages in the inbox is unmanageable.

  4. Show encryption state of the contact photo field

    I recently started using the Proton Contacts. The UI misled me into thinking that the contact photo field is not encrypted.

    Then, I read the code on GitHub and realized that you assigned the lock icon for the encrypted and signed fields.

    You should also add a lock next to the photo field or choose a different icon for the "signed" feature. I like Thunderbird's OpenPGP icons (they appear next to the subject line of an encrypted email).     Finnish language is already supported on web version but language support is missing from mobile apps. Thus translations already exist and should be just added to mobile apps

  8. Accept the 'Enter' key for moving emails

    Hi, would be great if I could file emails using the keyboard. As it is, I can press 'M' to open the folder dialog, type the folder name, press tab to highlight it... ZONK, then I need to click the folder. Can I just press enter to move the email to the highlighted folder please? Would be a very welcome efficiency item. Thank you!

  10. Keyboard shortcut for increasing the font size in email body

    Extend the keyboard shortcuts with options to increase or decrease the font size of the email. I use this to create "headings" when writing a long email that needs the content broken up in sections.

  11. Proper Desktop App for macOS

    The current state of the Desktop App (v1.1.2) for macOS (Sequoia) is in a very sad state. Actually, I currently see no point in using this "App". Why? Because the App makes exactly no effort for proper integration into the system.

    My key pain-points are:

    • Receiving new mails with the Proton Mail window closed creates a notification in the macOS Notification Center. However, when clicking on such a notification, nothing happens.

    • Similarly, it is possible to set Proton Mail as default mail client, but whenever I click on a mail-link, nothing happens. Instead, Proton Mail should open the composer window…

  12. Open Email content in full screen mode

    The size of the e-mail content area is very small on a laptop.

    Allowing e-mail content to be displayed in full-screen mode would make it possible to use Proton Mail on a laptop (with a small screen).

  13. Multiple inboxes based on folder, labels and email alias

    In Gmail I can setup custom layout of multiple inboxes. I can e.g. show first 10 unread messages, first 10 email with given label, and the rest is shown below. Those lists of emails can be collapsed if needed.

    It allows customization of what I can see at a glance when I enter my email and see what is important to me. I don't have to go through folders and labels manually.

    Those inboxes also allow filters. I can setup an inbox that shows emails with applied label and that is unread. Or make rule to show inbox that has…

  14. is it possible to have a sweep button, which will sweep emails into a nominated folder which selected.

  15. Cancel email expiration from Inbox index

    In the main index of your inbox (or another folder) it's possible to, for each email, mark as read/unread, delete, snooze, star, etc. It would be nice to be able to "unexpire" an email without opening it.

  16. Calendar desktop/web: control the number of visible hours while in day view

    Currently, day view shows 24 hours of time. Generally speaking, most people only have calendar events at most half of this time. The rest of the time is empty wasted space that makes what you want to see smaller than it needs to be.

    I would like to select or zoom to a particular range of hours either set like from 7 am - 10 pm or a number of hours 12 hours etc to cut down on wasted space allowing me to see detail specifically between the horizontal time bar and the edge of the event block.

  17. Implement Split-Screen View for Better Usability on Foldable Devices and Tablets in Proton Mail Android App

    The Proton Mail app on Android currently only allows you to view your email list. On foldable devices or tablets, this makes the email view huge and the inbox selection stretches across the entire screen.

    It would be nice to see a split screen for tablets, allowing you to select the emails on the left and the content on the right. Or select the inbox on the left with the email list on the right, so it doesn't look like an oversized smartphone app on a tablet.

  18. Add email or domain to black or whitelist directly from mail (address in message header)

    It would be more convenient to add an emailaddress or domain to a black or wite list from within the email directly when having it opened.

    Klick on from mail address and provide option not only an add to spam, but unmark from spam if it was a false positive.Better provide the option to add to whitelist (domain or exact email) instead of copying address and go to settings / filters/ blackl/whitelist...

    It should be possible to define a filter/rule to an incoming e-mail without going to Settings > Filter like all mainstream e-mail apps.

  20. Open Proton Calendar message in app not web

    When I receive a calendar notification in an email to Proton Mail it opens in the web browser. I'd like it to open in the Calendar App.
