Disable collapsing of multiple events into "1 more" in week view
When displaying the week view in the Web calendar, multiple full-day events collapse. Instead of the actual events, the calendar displays "1 more", "2 more", etc. Please add an option to disable this. I want to see all my calendar items at all times, "1 more" is utterly useless to me.
It is funny that the month view does not have this behaviour, even though the available space per day is way smaller than in the week view.

Delete 100 of OLDEST emails — NOT newest
When you click the “select emails to delete” button in trash, it makes absolutely no sense that the newest emails in the trash are deleted instead of the oldest.

Scribe assistant for mobile
I had an idea that Proton Mail could bring ProtonScribe into the iOS app as well. Ideally, it could even run natively on the newest Apple devices to take advantage of their performance. For users with relatively new and powerful hardware, there could be an option to enable this feature locally, so the assistant runs on-device rather than relying only on cloud processing. At the same time, older or less powerful devices could continue using Proton’s secure servers, just like the Windows app does, ensuring accessibility for everyone.

Add the ability to delete emails only from a specific group
Add the option, when clicking to delete a group, to also delete the email addresses in that group. Why is this necessary? First, it is a common option in many other contact managers. Second, there are times where contacts are being sourced elsewhere and periodically refreshed via importing from that other source. Currently, the only option is to manually search for every email that is in that group and delete them individually. This is very, very inconvenient.

Calendar Week view improvement
The existing Week view in Calendar is too busy and cluttered.
This is in both Desktop and Android Mobile.
An additional Week view layout that shows just 7 days, without the full list of times displayed would be a better user experience.
The Android calendar app "aCalendar" by Tapir Apps has a much nicer layout for the Week view.
See below for example screenshots (fifth screenshot is the Week view):

In Android Mail App, support mapping the delete button to delete message not thread.
Deleting message is more useful than deleting thread. Currently, to delete the message, it takes a scroll to the top and two clicks: one to open the menu, another click to move message to trash. There already is customization of the button toolbar, but mapping to delete message does not seem possible.

Allow for a 2 or 3 week calendar view. With 3-6 entries on each day, showing a month long layout w/ few items visible isn't helpful. Thanks!
Please allow for a 2 or 3 week view in the calendar. When there are many entries each day, showing a month long (4-5 wk) layout where only a few items per day are visible isn't very helpful. We only see a bunch of bullets (not all but a few) that show a few words. Allowing users to see 2 or 3 weeks at a time would allows the cells to fully populate and see all the bullets. Thanks!

Timer on recovery options - password, email and phone
A friend lost access to their Google account recently. The hacker stole the phone and then changed password and recovery options on the email account.
While PM uses password to prevent recovery option changes, I felt it would also be prudent to prevent recovery option changes for some hours. This proposal aims to prevents recovery hijack (email and phone) after phone theft or unauthorised access and also prevents a user who knows your account password from changing recovery options without authorisation.
Proposed idea;
- Delay recovery email change for 8 hours.
- Delay recovery phone change for 8 hours.
Alternatively allow account…

Delete confirmation hides the button bar for several seconds, preventing deletion of further emails
When deleting several emails in a row, we have to wait for the confirmation popup to disappear because it overlaps the button bar

Allow sieve to access body content by running client side
Sieve is great, but the proton mail implementation is severely limited by the inability to search message content, such as body. This is of course by design, sieve is running on the encrypted emails, so it cannot read the body content, however, it would be nice to do this sometimes. In a similar vein to the local side body search implemented by proton, I propose a client side sieve implementation, that can run in desktop proton to do filtering on unencrypted message content.

Disable categories
Option to remove the feature described below. Categories are useless. Labels already exist
Category view
Managing a cluttered inbox can be overwhelming, which is why we’re automating the process. Newsletter view was just the beginning. Soon, Category view will take things further, automatically organizing your emails into smart groups — like promotions, updates, newsletters, and more. This means fewer distractions and more control, letting you find what you need faster and focus on the messages that matter most.

Allow moving UI elements, like archive and trash, to different columns in the mail view
I would like the archive and trash icons to be movable so that I could have them between the multi-select box and the subject/message preview. This would make managing my inbox easier, since the message preview column is quite wide and the archive/delete buttons can be hard to see their relative alignment, especially on large monitors using the webapp.

Dedicated Proton Calendar App for MacOS
Instead of using the proton mail app for calendar, have a dedicated proton calendar app for macOS.
In the meantime, or if this is not something Proton wants to pursue, I would appreciate a couple of changes to the proton mail app:
I would like to be able to pick which is the default view when the app is launched to calendar instead of mail.I would also like to be able to two finger swipe left or right to be able to scroll back and forth between different weeks or months or days instead of just having the arrow…

More granular push notification control
Push notifications for Proton Mail on IOS are all-or-nothing: I can receive a push notification for every single email and new login both, or I can turn them all off.
I get too many emails to keep push notifications on for the Proton Mail app. Disabling them means that Proton no longer has any way to notify me that there's been a new login to my account. This is a security flaw.
Ideally, notifications would be quite flexible (allowing notifications to be set for specific labels or folders or other rules), but at the very least I should be able…

Modernize/expand the email editor
The email editor should have more formatting functions.
Markdown as input transform to HTML mail with preview function. (This would cover pretty much everything you could need.)
Create and manage tables
More editor functionalities (links from Drive)
Add meetings
Indentation levels (increase/decrease indentation)
The current editor feels like Notepad from Windows 95.

Hide email subject in the android app notification
Even with Extended Notifications setting turned off and the app locked the subject of the email is still visible, which completely defeats the purpose of the the app lock. Many services include OTPs or other sensitive information in the subject line of the email which is visible in the notification.
While this can be addressed in the system settings, this is not a solution as those can be changed without unlocking the app.
I propose a setting next to extended notifications that will allow to have the notification show "1 new email" without any information.

advanced syntax in search
Mail : Advanced Search Syntax, operators and Keywords
Having an advanced search syntax ("from:user@domain.com", "to:user@domain.com", "filetype:xlsx"...) would ease and speed up the use of the search feature among mail or other apps. Many competitors propose such feature but search engines (like Duckduckgo, Brave, etc..) might also be inspiring for a powerful search syntax.

Make event color customization available to free accounts
If we want more people to move to Proton, a calendar without the ability to color code events inevitably will turn people away from even giving it a real try and eventually moving fully to a paid account. If Proton insists on paywalling such an integral feature, at least give free users a handful of color options; then if you want to paywall the color picker, at least you’re not turning away potential users with calendars that appear to lack even something as basic as color customization.
