Windows App Icon Not Showing When Active Since New Update
The tray icon on Windows shows a green lock now, but the program itself doesn't on the Taskbar, which was something I looked at the most. Now, I have no idea if my VPN is active without opening the program or navigating to see the tray icon. Please fix.

Allow Users to Choose VPN Protocols on AppleTV App
Currently there is no way to pick VPN protocols within the AppleTV app, this causes problems when certain networks such as hotels block common VPN protocol traffic like WireGuard and OpenVPN. Stealth mode would be ideal in the circumstance, but currently only the fastest option is supported.

Linux beta client: Allow server ranges for the text options
Currently, one can set two different text boxes in the beta Linux client: "Auto connect", which accepts country codes, a specific server (such as NL#42) or "FASTEST". And then there's "Pinned tray connections", which accepts country code or specific server, multiple entries, comma-delimited.
While we're waiting for a better GUI, I would like to have the option of picking a specific range of servers for "Auto connect", such as: US#18-25 (for example).
As well as for "Pinned tray connections", choosing a ranged server entry would pick the best option within that range. A typical "Pinned tray connections" would look like…

Re-order protocols

Split Tunneling as a Premium feature
Can you enable Split Tunneling in free version? I used plus version for a month and have some setups depending on it but it stopped working.. Free version is enough for my needs, I don't want to pay for all features that i don't actually need.

For example, if I were to select server US-IL#200 from the dropdown menu for selecting the server, something like "US-IL#200 (Chicago)" would be automatically added to the name field as a suggested name. Business - Unlicensed user support
As an organization admin, I would like the ability to have unlicensed users that can administer and assign licenses, as well as users to exist without a license.
Currently every user must have a license, and there is no way to unassign a license without having to remove the user from the organization.

I would like proton vpn to turn on automatically when going to banking or payment websites and apps.

Add support of the <auth-user-pass></auth-user-pass> tags for OpenVPN protocol
Right now Proton supports only separate input of username and password. Some routers (Keenetic City) does not allow entering username and pasword separately. Recent paid customer. It's weird to measure bandwidth in Bytes. Create a little toggle button in Settings -> General for Bytes vs bits. Volume would stay as-is.

Filter needed when looking for a openvpn file to download on the webside
I usually need to download the Openvpn file for servers from the Proton VPN website. I live in the US and they have A LOT of servers. It is so time consuming just scrolling up and down through every country in the world to find a server with low utilization for a city I want.

Enhance anti-censorship capabilities and update IP addresses promptly to ensure usability in regions with strict censorship.

ssh tunnels
Ssh tunnels to allow a public ip and port to inbound to a lan device. Not a full vpn. Limited to a single port.
Some providers block all inbound traffic that is unsolicited, on their network. Both ipv6 and ipv4. This also breaks ipv6. But, instead of using a full wireguard client which is much lighter than the extremely heavy protonvpn client, nevertheless it causes bsod. Dedicated IPs , Rotating IPs , Double VPN Costumized
Dedicated IPs in major countries like the USA, Europe, Japan — something like NordVPN and Surfshark do, where we purchase dedicated IPs and choose the countries. However, it would be nice to include some shared dedicated IPs in the paid plan, with an additional fee option to have your own Proton IP in a country of your choice — Nord and Surfshark offer this.
Double VPN like Surfshark does — you choose both countries, the entry and exit points. It's not meant to eliminate or improve Secure Core, but rather for a customized Double VPN experience.

Proton curated NetShield allowlist for privacy-respecting services
Instead of implementing per-user domain whitelists across all VPN apps, Proton could maintain a curated allowlist of privacy-respecting domains (like www.startpage.com) that are exempt from NetShield ad blocking.
This could be either:
enabled by default, or
offered as a single opt-in toggle.Pros: Simple implementation (DNS-side only), consistent across all platforms, supports privacy-friendly business models.
Cons: Requires Proton to curate and maintain the list and some users may disagree with inclusion criteria or prefer maximum blocking without exceptions.

Split
Split tunneling is extremely useful but could benefit greatly from another level of splitting so that apps could be put into a home country only vpn tunnel, switched to when opening. This would allow some apps that don't work under a vpn to work since geography often seems to be the issue. I realize this could mean a reconnect, but this ensures staying on vpn and not forgetting to re-enable it to the preferred default other country.
