Better technology to bypass the Social Media ban
I want new software or technology that helps Australians bypass the social media ban. Why? Because X is not just a social platform—it’s also a source of news. Plus, this ban would require us to prove we’re over 16, and I don’t trust the government with my data. Why? Just look at the Medicare data breach—I don’t want my information leaked.
So, ProtonVPN team, please do something.

Apple TV App - Split Tunneling
I would like to see a split tunneling function in the Apple TV app.
The Android TV app already has this and I thought it was great as some services block VPNs. It would be a huge QOL update here to not always have to connect/disconnect the VPN.2 votes -
Add proxy on to change country to certain location in the world
I run a company in another country, and the VPN alone isn't sufficient. If you could set up a proxy to make the devices appear as if they're in a different location, it would greatly help, especially for any government-related work on our website that requires specific location settings and options to be enabled.

Dedicated IPv6 Addresses
IPv6 addresses are practically unlimited, unlike IPv4 addresses. Could we please get the option for free dedicated IPv6 addresses?
What I'd like to see:
- Option to use shared (currently available) or dedicated IPv6 address
- Per Wireguard profile
- Open incoming ports - let us host a public web server if we want to!Bonus:
- Ability to regenerate the address, e.g. in the Proton VPN desktop app or the web portal for Wireguard configs.
- DHCP-PD for routers. I don't know if any are supporting it today.2 votes -
On the "Create Profile" page, automatically suggest a profile name, the suggested name including the SERVER name and CITY
Request: On the "Create Profile" page, automatically suggest a profile name, the suggested name including the SERVER name and the CITY in which the server resides.
For example, if I were to select server US-IL#200 from the dropdown menu for selecting the server, something like "US-IL#200 (Chicago)" would be automatically added to the name field as a suggested name. Similarly, if I were to create a profile selecting the fastest server in the US, the suggested name could be something like "United States (fastest)" or similar. Including the protocol in the suggested name would also be good, but at least…

On the "Create Profile" page, add CITY names alongside each SERVER name that is listed on the server dropdown menu.
Request: On the "Create Profile" page, add CITY names alongside each SERVER name that is listed on the server dropdown menu.
On the "Create Profile" page, the dropdown menu for selecting the server recites each server name. But the dropdown menu for selecting the server does NOT recite the CITY in which the city resides. Knowing in which CITY a particular server resides would be helpful when selecting a server for creating a profile.
I'll note that the CITY name information for each server is available on the the "Countries" tab. So adding the CITY name information alongside each SERVER…

Business - Unlicensed user support
As an organization admin, I would like the ability to have unlicensed users that can administer and assign licenses, as well as users to exist without a license.
Currently every user must have a license, and there is no way to unassign a license without having to remove the user from the organization.

Business - Organization-wide country whitelist
As an organization, I want to be able to restrict which countries my employees can connect to.
This would support geo-filter restricted sites, ensure traffic is not routed through certain countries, and simplify access from the client providing less countries to choose from.

exclude
Option to exclude servers by city/state/country. It's no secret why many U.S. users flocked to ProtonVPN in recent users. It sucks to be automatically connected to servers in the state we're trying to get around, even if that is the fastest connection.

Add support of the <auth-user-pass></auth-user-pass> tags for OpenVPN protocol
Right now Proton supports only separate input of username and password. Some routers (Keenetic City) does not allow entering username and pasword separately. However the OpenVPN supports having username and password in a configuration file according to the - https://github.com/OpenVPN/openvpn/blob/v2.6.10/Changes.rst
It would be great if you could support inline auth.2 votes -
create a toggle in UI to show bandwidth by bits instead of Bytes
Recent paid customer. It's weird to measure bandwidth in Bytes. Create a little toggle button in Settings -> General for Bytes vs bits. Volume would stay as-is.

Australian servers
Could you please add more servers in Melbourne, Australia? We are the second largest city in the country and have the fewest servers by far. Thank you!

Never connect to specific U.S. states (e.g. those banning ****)
I would like to have critieria set to never connect to U.S. states that require identification upload for adult content, even is fastest connection is set by default.
It would be nice if we could set location-based exclusion criteria.

Pause
Pause for # duration - for iOS app, preferably integrated with Shortcuts app, just like 1Blocker does. There are other feature requests for various platforms, so you might consider rolling it out together, if that makes sense for your development workflow.

Connect to home network through wrapped VPN
I am using Proton VPN. I'd like to use Wireguard to connect to my home network using a Wireshark VPN through a Proton VPN connection. The idea is, that the operator of the hotel, or cafe WIFI, can't distinguish, if I'm streaming a video from e.g. Youtube through Proton VPN, or from my home NAS. They should just see connections with Proton VPN.
On my Linux laptop, I can control, that the Proton VPN wraps the home VPN connection. But with the Proton App on the Android Phone, and on my iPad, I don't know, how to do that.
So…

Develop a HarmonyOS version for Proton VPN
I believe we have all heard that China recently released a new operating system "Harmony NEXT", which will no longer be compatible with Android .apk files, and needs to develop a separate version for this system, hoping that the ProtonVPN team can develop a Harmony version of ProtonVPN (file suffix .hap) in the future, and truly make it a VPN that supports all platforms (even if it can't be directly put on the official app market "App Gallery", It is also possible to sideload the installation package to work fine on "Harmony NEXT")

Try to keep the same port on reconnect
Private Internet Access (PIA) has a (hidden?) feature in port forwarding where it tries to keep you in the same port, even if you are connecting to a different server.
So if I connect to Canada and it gives me the port 50123, connection drops for any reason (modem, router, ISP, Proton...) and it reconnects to another country, let's say USA, or even a different server in the same country, if the port 50123 is available it's gonna give me that port, if not then tough luck here's a new port.
This is very useful to avoid having to update…
