1. Feature to manage connected vpn clients

   Having a Web based connection/client management page would help monitor, authorise, link/unlink vpn clients.

   Details:

   Since my plan supports multiple connections, I use it across multiple devices of mine and that includes my wife's iPad. What I find uncomfortable currently is that there's no way to manage the different connected clients from say, a Web portal.

   So in this particular instance, I need to install proton vpn on my wife's iPad using my proton master password. That's uncomfortable and feels potentially unsecure.

   In another use case, being able to remotely unlink a legacy device (for example an old iPad or phone) would also be useful in case you no longer have physical access.

2. Display server load

   VPN icon onMac menu bar add server load for current server; the extended menu/settings shows the load in the list of servers, i suggest the load of the server in use be display when the icon on the top menu bar (mac) is dropped down - i have frequent bandwidth/speed problems and one of my checks is protonvpn server load

5. Add Custom DNS linux app

   Hello,
   A feature that essential for me in a VPN is the Custom DNS setting ( with DNS-over-HTTPS or IPV6 to use whith NextDNS ) but this features only exist in the windows version of ProtonVpn. It would be great if we could have the same feature.

6. Stop Auto Renewal

   Why would anyone sign up for auto renewal without even trying your product. Do you have such low confidence in your product that you must include auto renewal in order to keep your business going? This should not be part of your business model. Once you pay for a plan (*auto renewal required) they make it as difficult as possible to remove auto renewal. I'm a new paying customer and this is how you treat me. I've wasted so much time and effort trying to figure out how to stop auto renewal, only to find that I must downgrade my plan and provide credit card information and other personal information in order to do so. You do your Brand a great disservice by using what I consider sleazy business practices. Auto renewal should not be required in order to purchase your products. If you can't survive without doing this, at least offer an opt-out at the purchasing process.

9. Netshield settings for Browser Plugin

   I would really love to have the netshield an maybe even the killswitch settings in the VPN Plugin for Browsers. There are some reasons why I dont always have my VPN Client on but I would really love to use the VPN in my Browser all time with all the settings.

    During computer boot up, the VPN server selected at startup, fails to respond and connect, this happens on all my family computers on our local private network. The solution is to manually select a different country or server within the VPN System. It would be nice if AI could poll the servers, and select a different server from the users group of servers for that country, if the selected server fails to connect properly using the various protocols. In a selected country. The AI system could automatic reroute to a group chosen server from user preferences. AI then offers remote security computer scanning, filtering, and selective blocking of network traffic to the end user computer, or router in a secure manner, outside the various internet backbone, Tor based and privatized systems, This close in Proton Secure Scanning system would be more effective than current "OPEN/CLOSED" remote systems currently in use (Kapersky, ESET, etc) AI could also use Beagle encryption based systems which are more secure, and effective if traffic is "branched, parsed between various VPN servers.

15. Better map: individual city markers and country outlines

    The server markers on the map can be confusing, especially in very large countries. lt would be nice to have one marker per City, which would also make it easier to find a location closer to yourself in countries like the USA.
    What makes it even more confusing is that there are no country outlines in the desktop (or at least Windows) client. As a result, you often have to guess where each country marker is. One marker per city would help, but even better would be country outlines like in the Android app.
    Another thing that confused me was that the positions of the server markers are different on different platforms. This could easily be standardized With a marker per City. And as another user said, more triangles on the map makes for better marketing pictures.
    (Also, the map on Android is pretty Iow-res and looks terrible when zoomed in, but that's just a side note).

    Hello dear Proton team.

    New feature: Profile list arrangement.

    In the profile manager window, we should be able to arrange the listing of the profiles in the order the user prefers,
    and not the standard sorting that the app provides.
    If for example the user has several profiles, (and maybe some of them in a different language) and the ones they use are further down the list,
    they have to scroll down through the profiles to find the one they need, which in many cases has to change quite often during usage time.
    And it should be easily done by clicking holding dragging and dropping in windows and tapping holding and dropping in smartphones.

18. More profile customization with independent features (MacOS 13+)

    I would love if we could create a profile with different configurable and automatic combinations allowed as well as multi-select options. So for instance say I wanted to connect to a p2p server in whatever country (don't care) I cannot currently just do that, I need to specify P2P then specify a country rather than random or fastest option (for country selection).

20. Server fallback

    Not sure if technically possible but it would be nice to have an automatic server fallback in case the current server is down or slow, have the syste mswitch the connection to another server. I'm talking about router level VPN, of course this is not a problem with the app
