Share upload folder link
Share folders with the option to allow upload of files. This is an essencial feature to allow secure file transfer. Bonus points if notifications for uploaded files are present from day1.
This is especially important for companies, where receiving large files is sometimes troublesome.
Myself and my family currently use a (payed) competitor that provides this feature, and I can assure you I will not be adopting proton drive unless an equivalent feature is available.
PS: All the said.. I'm not sure posting ideas on this platform is of any use, provided proton has not given any feedback to any of the other ideas already posted..

Yes! Especially if it had file requests (like Dropbox, OneDrive, and WeTransfer) that allow users to create and send a link to request others to upload files to a specific folder without having an Proton account or seeing other files saved there.

I use this all the time on DB with clients, coaches, and students. I'd really like to use it on ProtonDrive.

Yes this is a huge need! would love if this worked for larger files like 50GB and multiple files

I really really really want this feature. I could easily get big files like music projects from novice computer users.
This is just one example of the many things it would enable me to do. I would use the service more and buy more space.

I create password-protected shared links for people to send me files - but they must create an account to actually upload files. It would be great if we could either share a link that allows anybody to upload (like G Suite, MS 365, etc) or be able to request a file like this - but without a Proton account.

While I would prefer a more feature rich set of permissions (see suggestion: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932839-proton-drive/suggestions/46670965-manage-user-rights-on-shared-files-or-folders) this would be a really solid stop-gap solution to a very glaring issue!

I couldn't find this either.
This feature, for me, should be specific to allow anyone with access to the shared folder, even if not Proton user, to upload to it. -

Without this feature I'm unable to switch to Proton Drive.

It's also essential for me to get this. I use Tresorit for that and if Proton offers this, i would switch. It costs me 60 € monthly but is absolutely essential to get private documents from clients in my job (lawyer).

I prefer to get files from even family members securely, because idk... it's just an anxiety thing. Regardless, it would be really nice to have this feature.

Even if it was just adding the ability to upload via a shared link to a folder would be nice. We often get larger files sent to us and our current solution requires us to download the file and then upload to Proton.

My business sometimes requests documents from customers that can be considered sensitive. Having the ability to send them a link to securely upload would make them feel more comfortable.

I would like to be able to create Drop Folders within Proton Drive like its possible with MEGA or Google Drive. I can send Friends a link and they can upload whatever they want to these drop folders on my cloudspace. People dont need to have an account to be able to upload to these folders.

Agreed, we need this feature. I had to sign up for a Tresorit Business free trial just to request some files.

There is currently no way for a non-Proton user to INITIATE secure communication with a Proton user. The workaround to onboard a new client/patient is very awkward. One solution would be links to secure webforms, either a generic form simply to send a message, or one or more customizable webforms that can be filled out and submitted securely to the Proton user. The other option would be the "file drop" feature requested here: a link to securely upload a file to a user's Proton Drive. One or the other of these is critical, and would address the largest hole in Proton's suite of services.

This looks like a duplicate of the "Proton Drive File Requests" feature request here: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932839-proton-drive/suggestions/45707290-proton-drive-file-requests-like-dropbox-paid-box.
I voted for both. This is a vital feature for secure communications to avoid files passing through someone else's non-proton email account.
