Webdav support
use a secure webdav link to access proton drive, e.g., to sync DevonThink from www.devontechnologies.com databases

I will like WebDAV support for proton drive as well. Right now I use Nextcloud for such things, but I want to use webdav for somethings. Also have to ability to select only certain folders to have webdav access too, not the root folder like most webdav apps.

E.g. to save important backups like password managers databases.
Note: there are more, similar requests for the same: WebDav support.

Really important. No reason to subscribe to protondrive plan without it.
Have the free plan now to test, works great. -

ProtonDrive is useless without WebDAV or a CLI tool. Because I signed up early to the Visionary plan, Proton has given me multiple terabytes of storage for free. But it sits unused because I can't script backups to it.

This would also allow Proton Drive to be used for attachments by Thunderbird.

If you plan to store passwords from password managers using your own storage service this is a requirement

Definitely useful for me, want to run my backups, calendars, etc through it

NextCloud, Enpass, Joplin... it seems every bit of software that allows me to move away from trusting free services with my data support Webdav as one of the key technologies for easily synchronizing my data between devices.

There are a number of services I use that support WebDAV for remote storage and synchronization. Support for WebDAV in ProtonMail would allow me to store my app data securely and privately and avoid those non-private services. For example, EnPass is a password manager that doesn't store your data online, but allows you to store it in cloud services, including those that support EnPass.

webdavs or even better ssh/sftp, so one could use private/public-key pair - at least for paying customers

In order to use Proton Drive with Zotero (https://www.zotero.org/) to sync my library I need WebDAV support and I would definitely upgrade my Proton Drive account to Drive Plus if this was supported.

We are currently evaluating Proton as a replacement for Fastmail in our business.
WebDav would be missed a lot(!) if we decide to make the switch. -

I agree with both these. I'd love to store my password manager database on proton drive but need the WebDav to work.
Also love a Proton Drive android app, please
