Keep the direction of photo viewing after deletion
When viewing photos in one direction, delete a photo, continue in the same direction (as in the Gallery on a Samsung phone).

[mobile] Easier selection of multiple images
Current implementation: Currently, when dealing with albums in Proton Drive on mobile devices, users must manually tap each image to select them and add them to an album. Same applies also when selecting images in other views, regardless if intention is to add them to an album or not.
Issue: This process can be cumbersome, especially when dealing with a large number of images spread across multiple rows. The lack of a streamlined selection method makes it time-consuming to organize photos efficiently.

Please add the finctions IMPORTHTML, IMPORTXML that exist in google sheets. It would be really useful for automating statistics and lists on how much things cost. (I want to use it to make an automatic grocery lsit with costs)

Im Falle des Ablebens eines Proton Account Holders sollte eine (oder mehrere) Personen angegeben werden können, die nach Identity Check auf die Unterlagen zugreifen können und in einem vordefinierten Zeitraum die Daten retten können, bevor der Account gelöscht wird.

Notify documents in Drive
When a document is added to an already shared folder, it would be preferred if the creator can notify others that the document is there. Now others can only be notified by explicitly sharing the single document, which creates a new shared link. Maintaining these links becomes a hassle.

Open and Save with external app, not rename to "file (1).txt"
Currently on Android we can only Send (makes a copy) but neither Save or Save As (over original) works for even a basic Text File. Since last century we've been able to overwrite/alter without cumbersome deletion of the original file first.

Shortcut to move a bullet point up or down in Proton Docs
It would be nice to have a shortcut to move a bullet point up or down in Proton Docs. Similarly to the shortcuts in WPS Office on macOS. With Options+Shift+Up Arrow you can move a bullet point up and with Options+Shift+Down Arrow you can move a bullet point down. I think there is a similar shortcut in Microsoft Word.

Manage internal files/folders
On the Mobile versions it would be really helpful to be able to manage internal files and remove the need for a file manager app such as "Files By Google" on our devices. Allowing us the usual functionality of a file manager, it could also allow for easier batch uploading to the cloud.
It would make it easier to organise our devices files, be able to upload them to the cloud and remove them from device storage all in a single app.

Download progress and cancelation
Hi.
Can we have some notification for downloading files on mobile app (android)?
Like in status bar to see how much is already done and also option to cancel download.Recently i try to get file from drive and it was over 500mb. I get note "download started" in app but i had no idea how fast or how it progress. After few minutes i still had no file in phone and every time i open app it say "download started". Cant even cancel it and had to force quit app.

Zoom alternative add on for artistically inclined?
This may be a bit much for the free tier Proton servers, but here's a 2-part pitch:
(1) functional Zoom alternative
(2) Maybe a feature of said alternative or another feature entirely for a "shared canvas" "chat room" type thing? I've heard about multiple people meeting up online in a kinda Zoom-ish meeting/chat room where they have a canvas that they can create art with and write messages - and option for mic to be muted or on was available. Not sure if it's an app or a website or what, but it seemed really cool and wondered if there…

Sheets cell indenting
After using both Excel and Google sheets for years, the only feature I frequently miss in later is the ability to indent cells. This is very useful way to make clearly separate different level (Country, state, city) by just using column A instead of having to split them to multiple columns. This is especially in cases where the "upper level" is just sum of the lower levels (like in accounting reports).

Drag and drop files into sidebar (Web version)
At the moment (in the web version) one can only drag and drop files from the list of files to a folder in the top bar (My files > folder 1 > Folder 1.1, etc), but I need to be able to drag and drop files directly into folders in the left sidebar.
Another thing important for this feature to work well is to be able to expand the left sidebar, so the entire folder names are displayed.
ps. does this feature exist in the desktop app yet? I'm not using the app yet because my mac is too old...

Webinterface Uploading: Create 1 folder, upload its files and subfolders, THEN create the next folder
Currently, when you upload folders in the webinterface, i.e. a fotos folder with 300 subfolders, drive first creates all 300 folders (why?) and then starts uploading into them.
The problem is: If a download fails or you close the browser accidentally, and you have to continue the upload, you have no idea what has been uploaded and what not. So you have to delete everything and start from scratch.
It would be better if the upload happens folder by folder so you can see where the upload was interrupted and can continue right there.2 votes -
Render Photo Captions/Titles from the Photo's metatdata
(a) When viewing the photo gallery, optionally, display the photo's caption/title.
This would have to be done carefully as there are many candidate places in a photo that a "caption" of sorts is stored: jpeg caption, jpeg title, etc..
(b) The ability to edit the "caption" metadata and then modify the source file.
This means that all the effort that goes into captioning photos would not be lost as the edits would "stick" with the photo. If completed, this would make Proton Photos better than any other cloud Photo applications - as all the other store the caption away fro…

When duplicating a sheet in Proton Sheets. Please place the new sheet next to the original sheet and not all the way at the end of the list.
