1. Send to Proton Drive Button

   I lost some very important conversations about my ****** cancer journey and important memories because Lumo's local storage was silently cleared despite History being enabled. An automatic export or "Send to Proton Drive" feature would prevent this from happening to others. Memories and Health conversations are too important to lose. Please consider adding automatic backup to Proton Drive or Proton Docs.

2. Remove Lumo Completely.

   Please remove lumo completely. It is grift and waste. At MINIMUM provide one button to completely deactivate everywhere. I do not want my subscription funds paying for this. I did not sign up for it, it was added without my consent and i find it very difficult to remove it from my sight.

3. Several improvements that I think are obvious to any LLM

   ● Parallel searches: Plan and execute all necessary queries simultaneously before responding, avoiding iterating prompt by prompt.

   ● Comprehensive answers: Deliver the complete response in a single message, without segmenting information or closing with "want you to verify X?"

   ● Proactive verification: Activate web search automatically when the information is dynamic, recent or uncertain, without waiting for the user to ask for it.

   ● If there is no verified data, explicitly say "I have no verified information". It looks like 2022 chatgpt.

   ● Zero data invented in tables: Not completing cells with fictional values. No explicit source, empty cell or "unavailable".

   ● Mandatory source citation: Indicate where each specific number or data quoted comes from.

   ● Corrections memory: Block information that the user already corrected as erroneous in previous sessions.

   ● Not to recycle obsolete searches: Not reuse previous search data by giving for valid old information; verify again before affirming.

   ● Persistent response profiles: Savethe technical jargon in English to Spanish, (in my case), without exception.

   ● Conciseness by default: Without introductions, courtesies or rambling when the user explicitly requests it in the customization, the memories, and even in the promt .

   ● Transparency of own capabilities: That Lumo knows and can inform its real limits (tokens, models, context, available functions).

4. Improve reliability of speech to text dictation on iPad by allowing appending in text box

   Currently the iPad version of Lumo allows me to use the microphone for on device speech to text, so I can talk my (IDEAS) into Lumo. Every time I use the little microphone icon, it clears what I had previously input into the text box, even if I input it via the microphone.

   This is frustrating because I may simply have wanted to continue building on my ideas — it looks like there is a wrong way currently to use the Lumo app on the iPad with on device dictation.

   Please enhance this feature so that I can continue adding to an existing text box, prompt, and build up a really large, thoughtful inquiry into Lumo, using my voice only

5. Copy Lumo response as markdown

   Copying a Lumo response presently comes out as plain text (stripped down of formatting).
   Another button (or the same one with a dropdown option) could enable copying down the actual markdown formatting shown on screen instead.
   Essential when drawing up documents.
   The workaround today: copy the text, paste it into a new Proton Doc, and then copy as markdown from there. So it is feasible. The workaround is just cumbersome.

   As a long-time Proton Visionary subscriber, I've watched the Proton ecosystem grow from its early days into something truly remarkable. Lumo is a fantastic addition, and the existing Proton Drive file integration — being able to add files to a chat's knowledge base — is a great start. However, I'd love to see a much deeper integration where Lumo can actively help manage and organize my Proton account, not just read files I manually bring into a conversation.

   Specifically, I'd love to see Lumo able to:

   Browse and search across my Proton Drive — Find files by content, type, or keyword without me needing to manually locate and add each one
   Identify and flag duplicate files — Helping me reclaim storage space by detecting duplicates
   Suggest and apply folder structures — Recommending organization schemes based on file types, naming patterns, or content, and optionally applying them
   Sort and organize my Proton Mail inbox — Applying labels, filters, or folders based on sender, subject, or content patterns, and helping me triage or archive email in bulk
   Surface important or actionable emails — Acting as an intelligent assistant that helps me prioritize what needs attention
   I understand this would require granting Lumo scoped access to my Drive and Mail, and I recognize the privacy considerations involved. However, given Proton's expertise in zero-access encryption, I trust that Proton could design this in a way that maintains the privacy guarantees I value — perhaps with on-device processing or a permission model where I explicitly grant and can revoke access.

   I would gladly pay more for this capability — whether as a premium Lumo feature tier or an add-on to my Visionary plan. I believe many other users would too. This kind of deep, intelligent assistant integration across the Proton ecosystem would be a genuine differentiator and would make the Visionary plan even more compelling.

7. All-day events show as "Free"

   I'd like to mark all-day events as "Free." This is especially important on shared calendars, because if I have, say, a birthday marked on my Proton calendar, it blocks off my entire work calendar (Outlook) because it thinks I'm busy all day.

8. Change Default Model for First-Time Visit

   When opening Lumo for the first time in a browser, change the default model to Lite/Thought or Max/Fast. With the current setting (Thought/Max) I’m finding it much slower compared to other chatbots. I think for the average user/use cases, a “lighter” setting would be more than enough. (And once you log in, your favorite setting is retained anyway).

9. Customizable start screen

   A way to set the default screen when you first open the app to the screen/ side bar where it shows the projects and in progress/ history of chats. most of the time when i open the app thats the first screen i go to, and it's a bit of a pain to have to click up in the top left corner just to get started, i prefer to be able to scroll through the last time i used lumo, or be able to jump right back to key points, or go to my projects. It would simplify my workflow if i could have the option to set it to have that sidebar screen as the main start screen. Or a customizable start screen that you could have include different features that you use the most.

10. Make the highlight for today's date bigger

    If you view the calendar in month view, and put at least 4 events per day for the entire month, it can be very hard to easily find where today's date is.

    Currently it's just the number inside the date box that is boxed/highlighted and this gets lost when there are lots of events in a given month.

    Request: Simply just make it obvious. Or better yet, instead of boxing just the number, why not highlight the entire date box, and change its background colour to your primary colour instead? pls and thanks

12. Feature Request: Automated Multi-Prompt Workflow

    I am a Proton Workspace Premium user. This message was drafted by Lumo to streamline the submission process.

    • Feature -

    I need to run the same six prompts, in the same sequence, on research markdown files daily. The output of prompt 1 becomes the input of prompt 2, continuing through to prompt 6. I want the final output without manually running each prompt and waiting for completion between steps.

    • What I Tried-

    Since Lumo does not support agentic or automated workflows, I explored local alternatives. I built a Python script using Ollama to host a local model (llama3.2) and execute the six-step chain programmatically.

    I tested this approach thoroughly:

    • Installed Ollama on Windows 11
    • Configured a six-prompt sequential chain
    • Tested with placeholder text and actual research files

    • Verified the automation logic works correctly

    • What Happened-

    The workflow functioned technically, but the local model produced unacceptable levels of hallucination. Even with careful prompt engineering, Llama 3.2 (3B parameters) fabricated information throughout the chain. Errors compounded at each step, rendering the final output unreliable.

    I attempted mitigation by switching to larger local models, but the hardware constraints of a 16GB laptop prevented me from running models capable of handling multi-step reasoning without hallucination.

    • The Privacy Constraint -

    Because of the nature of the material I process with Lumo, I cannot reliably trust public cloud providers like OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google. This is not a technical limitation but a fundamental requirement tied to the purpose of zero-knowledge encryption.

    I chose Proton and Lumo specifically because data privacy is the core value proposition. If users must abandon that promise to obtain reliable AI performance, the tradeoff defeats the purpose of choosing a privacy-first service in the first place.

    • The Request -

    I need a way to run automated multi-prompt workflows with reliability comparable to Lumo's manual chat interface. The implementation details are not my concern; I do not care if this runs locally, on Proton servers, or through hybrid infrastructure. What matters is:

    • The ability to chain prompts sequentially with state passing
    • Output quality that does not degrade through the chain

    • Privacy guarantees that align with Proton's zero-access encryption model

    • Why This Matters to Proton -

    Users who depend on Proton for privacy-sensitive work need the same automation capabilities available in non-private AI services. Otherwise, I face a binary choice: compromise privacy for functionality, or sacrifice efficiency for security. Neither is acceptable.

    Proton's mission is to build an internet where privacy and security are the default. That mission extends to AI capabilities. Automated workflows should not require users to abandon the very privacy protections they signed up for.

13. Allow Lumo to be set as the voice assistant

    Dear Proton Team,

    I have always wanted a open source Voice Assistant on my phone as I do not want my conversations with a big tech company like Google Assistant or Gemini.

    Currently the only solution I know of is Dicio but the assistant is quite basic in its capabilities so far, Lumo would be a great option because it's based on intelligent AI from Proton.

16. Move Existing Chats into Projects

    Dear Proton Team,

    I'm writing to respectfully suggest adding a feature that would greatly improve the organization capabilities of Lumo Projects.

    Currently, there is no clear way to move an existing conversation into a Project workspace. While Projects are designed as dedicated spaces for bundling chats, files, and custom instructions, users cannot transfer past conversations into them. This creates a significant organizational gap.

    Many users naturally accumulate conversations across different topics and workflows over time. Without the ability to move these conversations into relevant Projects, they remain scattered and disconnected from the context where they belong. This limits the utility of the Project system itself.

    As a core organizational function, this capability should be prioritized. It would allow users to properly consolidate their work history and maintain coherent context within each Project.

    It's such a small detail but so useful and I don't get why it wasn't added at 1.3?

    Additionally, some users would appreciate further customization options for Projects, such as enhanced tagging or folder structures, though these are secondary to the primary concern of enabling chat migration.

18. Dedicated "X" in Top Right Corner to Delete Chats

    Lumo+ is wonderful, version 2.0 needs some tweaks. A dedicated "X" in top right corner to Delete Chats in the following: in Ghost Mode (please make it a separate button, not toggle) so user knows chat is gone, current option is to start new chat or sign out. In Projects, place an "X" next to each upload and the veiled dropdown lists of compacted chats need to have a delete button, not just add/remove from reference,

19. Rename & Organize Chats in Lumo+ for Max Privacy/User Control

    Currently you can delete chats or add to favorites (where are favorites?), but there's no option to rename them. For users who like to refine, re-organize, and manage their chat history, being able to rename chats would be very helpful. Also, renaming would complement the Memory toggle and Projects features nicely by giving users more control over organizing their conversations.

20. Add Dedicated Feedback Button Inside Lumo+

    Right now there's no easy way to send feedback from within Lumo+ itself. I submitted a compliment through the bug report form as there was not a dedicated feedback option. Adding a simple, dedicated feedback button in the navigation pane would make it easy for users to share both praise and constructive suggestions — and you deserve to hear when you're doing a great job, because you are!
