Lumo iOS Search function
Sometimes during a long session, you want to get back to particular answers that you need to keep on working right now the only way to do this is to either scroll through the whole session manually or copy paste, the answer to a new document which is somewhat cumbersome

Transcript feature uncensored
Currently i get censored when i am speaking for no reason <- me swearing is not "a reason" unless there is no free speak. Me swearing when someone is present, including a child, or someone who will get offended, are reason i fully understand that are real "a reason". But:
Or what, what i am talking with Lumo needs to be censored in case someone read what i speak with an 100% privacy AI?
And
If this is not from Lumo, but our own device, then why do we have a function in the chat that might expose our talk?…

Our Privacy due to Apertus and similar to be clarified
Hello
WARNING: there is only 1 single suggestion: when an update, or system or otherwise is added, Lumo needs to be aware of.
Everything else i write, is me explaining the context, why, and more. But please remember that all this is for the above suggestion.......... Because i asked lumo to do a summary and it added "suggestion" that i did not say (like usually, adding extras....) but they are on the point, and can, hopefully, help everyone understand the suggestion better.
HERE IS COPY PASTE FROM LUMO:
On 11 September 2026 I used the thumbs-down button to report an…

Add text-to-speech playback so users can listen to responses
Summary:
Add an option to have Lumo's responses read aloud using the text-to-speech engine that's already built into Android and iOS. No server-side synthesis required. The problem:
Lumo offers voice input on mobile, but there's no way to listen to a response. Users have to stop and read every reply, which makes it awkward to use Lumo hands-free and excludes users who prefer or need audio in support of their individual impairments such as visual strain, dyslexia, and similar situations.Proposed solution:
Rather than building a separate TTS pipeline, query the onboard text-to-speech engine that every Android and iPhone already…1 vote -
Responsive chat width when sidebars are collapsed
🧩 Problem
When I collapse the left sidebar and the files panel, the chat area stays narrow.
Since the chat content isn't responsive, the conversation remains constrained to a
fixed (narrow) width, wasting the freed screen space. This makes it harder to work with:
- 📊 Charts and tables generated in conversations
- 📝 Code blocks / longer lines of text
- 🖼️ Wide images and generated content💡 Proposed Solution
Make the chat container responsive to available width, so when panels
are collapsed, the conversation stretches to use the reclaimed space.Options to consider:
1. Chat width dynamically…1 vote -
Desktop app and Lumo feedback connection to Proton Devs and Support
First, Lumo pointed out that maybe having a desktop app, just like all the other apps that Proton offers, is beneficial for our needs, and maybe for others.
Second, It would be nice if Lumo can send Dev Team feedback messages and get support for people. The latter especially helpful with non-technical people trying to explain a technical issue.

I love using Lumo. But have difficulty with the small gray scrollbar. Please make that in a contrast colour or much much bigger.
I love using Lumo. But having difficulty with the small gray scrollbar. Please make that in a contrast colour or much much bigger. I do not want to squint every time I have to scroll up and down. Recently I asked Lumo and he suggested settings. So by trying myself, I realized something and succeeded in making the background white. That helped a bit. But the bar is still very small. Can you please fix this.

Lumo Diary: Reflective Daily Journaling with Photos & Conversation History
I'd like to propose a built-in Diary Mode for Lumo – a private, encrypted daily journal that grows naturally out of normal conversation.
The Concept: Instead of filling out a journaling form, the user simply talks to Lumo during the day about what they did, thought, or experienced, and can attach photos. When the day ends (or the next day is opened), Lumo compiles the conversation and images into a structured diary entry.
Key features:
Conversation-to-entry with timestamps: The day's chats become the raw material. Each new day gets a "page" in the diary. Each conversation segment is automatically marked…

More control over Lumo's behaviour
I am very sorry, WHY is the "sytem from proton" allowing Lumo
Write the same answer even when told it's not paying attention.
it's wrong. So now it will write...
wait.... Lumo says some ilogical thing: Yes it is x
i say stop talkign about that because i am asking about somethign else
Yes you are right i should have
and to answer the question
Yes it is x
Me: stop insisting with something wrong.
Lumo: yes you are right, i should have, i will not, and then
and to once agian answer a question you did not ask, or…

Personalization bug in Lumo
Thank you so much for adding personalization into Lumo! This was the main reason for me to not use it until now. Meanwhile, the personalization only applies to the first response. All next one doesn't include it, and same when regenerating.
