  1. Split the « Agenda » view into two consecutive separate views: Month view followed by the daily view in list form

    I still can't use Proton Calendar as my default
    calendar because of one particular irritant: the Month view.

    • First of all, I would have liked to have the option in the settings to remove the grid that surrounds each day of the month, which I don't find very aesthetically pleasing.

    • Furthermore, the week numbers should be displayed smaller, for example, in the top left corner of the first day of each week. Otherwise, the week numbers are too large and compress the text written in each day.

  2. Problem: Delayed synchronization between Todoist and Proton Calendar

    I use DoDoIst and have integrated the task feed into my Proton Calendar. Unfortunately, the calendar does not synchronize the tasks until the next day. Is it also possible to have the synchronization performed immediately? What do I have to do for this?

  3. Improve Global Loading/Action Time

    I've seen a couple people mentioning loading time when an app is opening, but a major weakness of Proton Calendar is that it's so slow to do basically everything and all other actions are held up until the one currently running is complete. Examples include initial loading of the calendar, creating a new event, changing the time on an existing event, modifying repeat sequences, etc.

    I don't fully understand the technical aspects of what calls and actions need to occur, but other calendar apps such as Google Calendar and Outlook will perform most of these actions near-instantaneously. I know it's…

  4. Create a calendar booking service that seamlessly allows clients to book into a synced calendar

    We need something like Calendly that allows clients to book into our calendar. The current workaround of syncing Proton to Google Meet is incredibly slow and defeats the purpose of a private booking service.

    This page, uservoise, requires us to login to facebook or google account to vote or write new suggestions. I don't have a facebook account, and I dont want to use my google account either.

  6. standard calendar ios

    I can't select proton calendar as my standard calendar when I create events. For instance if I get a text with a reminder for something that includes the date and time, I can press this and IOS will enable me to create an event on this time. But here I can only select standard iphone calendar or a google calendar. Proton calendar does not show as an option. This is a higly used feature for me, and it would be great to get this option for Proton as well. Thanks for all your great work!

  8. Sunrise and Sunset times to help runners/bike riders plan their training

    As a distance runner/bike rider, having access to local Sunrise and Sunset times in the Proton Calendar would be fantastic. Planning early morning / evening training sessions to beat the heat would be much easier.

    The ability have Proton calculate travel time when you add an appointment would be great! Additionally if proton or Waze could remind you when (or before) it's time to leave

  10. Improve Proton Calendar Widget on iOS

    Wouldn't it be nice to improve iPhone's default widget?

    Today it only shows events for the current day, while it would be desirable to show events for the next 1/2 days as well (like the Apple calendar widget).

    I think this is an easy feature to implement and would benefit all users.

  12. Be able to add a zoom link to an invite created on mobile app

    When creating an invite on the desktop app or web browser you cane easily add a zoom link. This functionality should also be on the mobile app. Currently I either need to create invites on my computer or create a zoom meeting on my phone and then copy the call details into the invite.

  14. widget: mask sensitive events

    It would be great to have a flag that marks sensitive calendar events. The practical effect would be to mask the event name in the calendar widget (iOS, Android). As an example, you might have an event of “surgery 2-5pm”; if marked as sensitive the widget would display it as “[event] 2-5pm”. As such you could still see that there is an event in the widget and you would still see the time, but you couldn’t see the name of the event name unless you went into Calendar.   15. Allow for more flexible data entry for calendar event start/end time

    It would be helpful if the selection fields for calendar event start times could match a wider range of text input to avoid excessive mouse clicks. At present, typing in the fields will automatically select one of the pre-set options in the list (i.e., "12:00 AM", "12:30 AM", and so on) based on an exact match of the text string. While this does allow for somewhat rapid selection in limited cases, i.e., for events starting at midnight and on the hour from 2 am to 9 am (allowing typing a single digit and then it autoselects), but then further selection…

    On mobile apps: Add a button to switch to Proton Mail directly from Calendar app, without the need to return to mobile home screen and then launch the Mail app.

  17. Allow URIs to display as hyperlinks in event description

    As a Proton Calendar user i should be able to put a URI to an external application in my calendar description and it display as a link so that i myself, as well as others, can quickly reference data pertaining to the meeting event.

    Not just URLs to websites; but for someone who uses obsidian notes, i was surprised when i started dropping URIs into appointments and they did not turn into links. Simple hyperlink support would make it much easier for folks using external notes and other applications to quicky jump form calendar to event related notes.

  19. Remove ‘Create New Event’ button in iOS widget

    There is already a small button to create new event so it’s redundant to have another big one in the middle - it’s quite anxiety-inducing to be constantly prompted to have an event planned.

    Just put ‘No event today’.

  20. Export/Share single events as ICS files

    I would like to be able to share/export single or multiple events as an ICS file. It would be more convenient send the file rather than gather emails.
