Proposal for a Discount Program for NATO Veterans
Proposal Overview: I propose that Proton offers a special discount on its range of products and services to NATO veterans as a gesture of appreciation for their service and dedication. This initiative would provide veterans with secure and privacy-focused communication tools, supporting their post-service needs and recognizing their contributions.
Why This Discount Is Important:
Recognition of Service:
NATO veterans have committed themselves to protecting the values of freedom, security, and peace.
Offering a discount on Proton products is a meaningful way to acknowledge their sacrifices and show gratitude for their service.
Enhanced Security and Privacy:Veterans often value secure and…

Have an economy paid level of $10+/- per Year
$4.99 per month for the lowest paid account is ridiculous. And the recent offer of $1 per month...for just ONE month...is silly. BUT I would jump to join a paid BASIC account at a reasonable $1 per month -- $12 rather than $60 per year -- if for no other reason than to support the Proton site. --It is beyond me why Proton has never had a basic $10+/- a year account level for people who justifiably balk at a ridiculous $60 for features little beyond those of a free account.
There are people out here who want to support…

Automate plan right-sizing when renewing
It would be good for protonmail to see what features someone really uses, and suggest the correct plan automatically instead of forcing them to renew things I don't use at a very high price. Right now, you are only doing this for upgrades.
I need a plan for 3 users with several custom domains for one of the users. I have zero need for Drive, VPN, Calendar, Wallet, and all other options you are pushing onto Unlimited subscribers (which you can easily see). One reasonable option today would be multiple email plus account (with additional custom domains for one of…

Support bigger Family’s trough the family plan
There should be an option to add more family members and you pay a certain amount more 1Password already does this and this is why I we can’t move over to proton from other services like 1Password.
Support told me to try a business plan but when you try to configure that for 7 people and with the same features as the proton family plan has then it just gets way to expensive.

Stop being a greedy subscription-pushing enterprise
- Stop pushing Unlimited on already paying customers. Proton mail is a good product and I'm SICK of constantly being told that paying 2x a month for products I don't want is a great deal.
- Barring existing customers from black friday deals sucks. The only "deal" offered to me is to pay you more money (unlimited plan), where as new customers can get an actual deal on proton mail.
I know you aren't going to do anything about this, I just want to voice my frustration. Apparently using only one Proton product isn't good enough. Did it occur to you that…

allow users to buy services à la carte
Allow users to by services à la carte. For example being able to purchase Drive+ and Mail+ without being forced to pay for the Unlimited bundle.
The current system incentivizes users to break the TOS since its usually cheaper to have separate accounts with an individual service attached if you don't require the majority of benefits included with Unlimited.

family
Family plan is more expensive than 6 individual drive plans?
This is strange. And each family is a different world.
Maybe should exist a flexible family plan, being able to choose some variables, like: number of users, applications (maybe one family wants VPN and others do not,...), number of devices,...

Less granularity of features / too many upsell cards
Been using Proton Plus for a while now. It's a great service. I also pay for Simplelogin Premium subscription.
With that said, Mail Plus does not feel like it's a premium (or even a paid) service because literally every time I go to access settings, there are upsell cards for Unlimited being 'Recommended' - along with the permanent 'Get Unlimited' on my mailbox screen
As a paying customer, I don't think it is reasonable to be constantly badgered to pay more.
Related to this, you're too stingy with Mail Plus. Recently I:
1) Wanted to give ProtonVPN a proper test…

Realistic family plan like 100GB storage instead of 3 TB
Look at Google Family Plans.
It starts from 100 GB.
https://one.google.com/plans
I assume pricing would also decrease for 100 GB plan, 200 GB plan as it's relatively smaller than 3 TB.2 votes -
Month to Month plans after terms are met
As an added benefit of the longer term plans, such as 12 and 24 month, extend that pricing post term completion.
So, if 24 months of proton mail were $191.76 upfront(which would be $7.99 a month), then the 25th month and beyond is billed monthly at $7.99.
If someone committed to 24 months, then they keep that rate M2M afterwards.

Proton Keyboard for mobile devices!
This might sound silly and you're all welcome to ignore this idea, but I'd really appreciated a keyboard for my phone which values privacy, but with all the important features that a good keyboard should have, like AnySoft's (except better since that one has bugs).

free plan should be better than google free plan
Proton should consider enhancing its free plan to offer more competitive features compared to Google's offerings. Specifically:
Increase storage: Provide more free storage space than Google's current 15GB allocation.
Expand features: Include additional privacy-focused features not available in Google's free plan.
Maintain lower pricing: Ensure that Proton's paid plans remain more affordable than comparable Google plans.
Highlight privacy benefits: Emphasize Proton's superior privacy protections as a key differentiator.
Improve ease of use: Streamline the user interface to make it as intuitive as Google's services.By implementing these changes, Proton could potentially attract more users who are looking for a privacy-focused…

Appropriate fees should be determined specifically for countries with high inflation.
In countries with high inflation, paying with Dollars or Euros costs too much compared to the currency of that country. For such countries, special low fees must be determined and payment must be made in the local currency.

Family plan - Custom domain - Create own address
Users in a family plan should be able create addresses on their own if custom domains are added.
To create those addresses demands admin rights but that also makes everyone with admin rights the power to change/cancel the family plan itself. The option to just create an address should be open.

Standard Notes monthly subscription
I really want to try the Standard Notes subscription for 1 month to see if it fits with my day-to-day needs, however it does not offer a monthly subscription (and €90 is a bit expensive for a trial)

Encryption of all apps separately especially Facebook and messenger
Encryption of data in applications and before any data is read more transferred Encrypt it again via a different method everytime app communicates with other apps or services. Run Encryption again after Data is transferred and then again after data has been received. Alternate Encryption methods each time causing the exact pattern of the process hard to mirror. Switching up servers along the way. Thus maki6it nearly impossible to duplicate. Never use the same method back to back for any data transfer, no matter what it is. Replacement of Encryption process and keys should Alternatively be hard to follow no…
