Lifetime plan
I find paying 4 euros per month too expensive.
I would suggest adding the possibility to buy more features like adding more addresses, more filters rules or more GB for life.2,613 votes -
€1/$1 per month membership - provides 1 pm.me email address
It would be the ideal membership for those who just wanna support you but don't need any features that are not already in the free account. And I'm sure it would interest lots of people, €5 is a little steep for email when you don't need anything fancy and just appreciate the privacy ; )

-> Free plus account for uni/post-secondary students
- Can be featured in github's student pack (https://education.github.com/pack)
- Account upgrade could simply expire at the end of educational term
- Custom domain options allow students to use their EDU domain email with proton mail's superior service
- Allows students to organize busy mail traffic without folder limitations
- Increase storage capacity allows for multiple word documents and Comp. Sci projects

Desktop bridge for free users.
I am so disappointed that the new 'Protonmail Bridge' is only for paid accounts. I love Protonmail for the fact that it is secure and free. If they continue to leave free users out of these great new features; I may not continue to use Protonmail!

Basic plan
A 'basic' price plan between 'free' and 'plus', that is a lot cheaper than the $/€4 per month 'plus' plan. The price covers the running costs of a 'free' account, and should provide less of a shock to the system of cash-strapped people used to free (albeit not private) email.
The added features over the 'free' plan would be Protonmail Bridge, so emails & attachments can be downloaded, as the 500MB capacity fills very fast even with just standard usage, and the option to remove the signature "Sent with ProtonMail Secure Email" (default setting would be signature included). I would…

Custom plans - make your own bundle (add-ons)
Instead of having a Plus, with a fixed number of custom domains and adresses, let users build their own paid plan.
Some may only want more space, without the other extras, or something else131 votes -
customer benefit for existing clients
there should be a plan for existing clients...for example you pay the full price year 1....year 2 5% discount....year 3 another 3% discount in addition to the 5% of the year 2 ...

To be able to have a +1 account.
Not everyone needs to add 5 people to an account but would like to save money when adding 1 additional. For example I believe it is important to share my password keeper with my wife. Love the service but also would love to have some flexibility in the plans. THX.

Purchase additional storage
I think it would be nice if you could have the option to pay for the same plan but with an increased storage. For example an Unlimited plan, but with 2TB of storage instead of just 500GB.

More free filters
Add more free filters like at least 3 because free accounts only have 1 available filter and paid accounts have unlimited. I've also seen similar posts on here from 2016 of this issue and free accounts still only have 1 filter.

A videocall app comparable to MS Teams
No email ecosystem can nowadays exist without a videocall app.
Having to rely to external apps means setting up a calendar, copying the url etc.It would be easier to have a Proton videocall app.

Proton Keyboard for mobile devices!
This might sound silly and you're all welcome to ignore this idea, but I'd really appreciated a keyboard for my phone which values privacy, but with all the important features that a good keyboard should have, like AnySoft's (except better since that one has bugs).

Purchase multiple plans under 1 account
I currently have a Proton Business plan with x users. However, not all users require all the features that come with Proton business, and I would like to purchase a Mail Essentials plan. I cannot do this for some reason.
I would like the ability to purchase different tiers of plans under the same account.

Non-profit plans (basic)
Hi,
I'm part of a non-profit organization which can't afford a ProtonMail Plus plan.
We just need more labels and more storage than the free tier allows. We don't need aliases, custom domains, or IMAP. I'm sending it here because I can see in our mailbox that we're not the only non-profits using Gmail.
I should also highlight that some "non-profits" are probably illegal with repressive governments. (Then they're not, on the legal field, non-profit, but they deserve encryption no less than myself.)
So various ideas could come up. Non-profits could have more labels and more storage for free. ProtonMail…

Family Plan for Mail and VPN with Parental Control
As everyone is already asking for a Family plan I don't have to repeat this. I would be up for a Familyplan including VPN and then add a Parental Control function. Changes needed:
- Family plan for up to 6 Persons 2 of those are "Grown Ups" and 4 are Child-Accounts
- VPN Client that can be forced and not turned off for the Child-Accounts
- Family filter or at least Surf-report for Parents of the Child VPN Access
- Family Filter or Report for Child Mail AccountsI really like Proton and its Plans and think this would be…

Ability to add one user to proton unlimited
I'm currently using the proton unlimited service as I run multiple domains. I'd really, really like to move my spouse off gmail and other **** services, but the family plan is way too much money, and it is just me and my spouse. We have no other family and won't have kids. so six users is overkill. I also pay for a year or two years at a time, so if i was doing two years, 500 dollars is way too much for two users. It would be nice to have the ability to add one other user to the…

Mail Plus plan with shared domain
Sharing a domain among several people is now very expensive.
The Mail Plus plan is more than enough for most people, but sharing a domain is not possible with it. The cheapest plan for sharing a domain is Mail Essentials which is almost double the price of Mail Plus. That is a lot.
I suggest adding one of these options:
1. Add domain sharing to Mail Plus
2. Make an affordable "bare essentials" family plan
3. Add domain sharing as a paid add-on feature23 votes -
Appropriate fees should be determined specifically for countries with high inflation.
In countries with high inflation, paying with Dollars or Euros costs too much compared to the currency of that country. For such countries, special low fees must be determined and payment must be made in the local currency.

Standard Notes monthly subscription
I really want to try the Standard Notes subscription for 1 month to see if it fits with my day-to-day needs, however it does not offer a monthly subscription (and €90 is a bit expensive for a trial)
