Ditch The LLM, It's Slop
Ditch The LLM, It's Slop. A.I isn't good for anyone or the environment. It also takes a lot of time and resources to implement that could be put to better use for your paying users.

Change push notifications from Apple or google play services, to an ecosystem agnostic option
It would be great to be able to use Proton’s apps and services without needing to rely on Apple’s Push Service or Google Play Services for Push notifications. This way we can use Proton Services without needing to install microG or activating Play Services.

Proton should purchase “Magic Earth” and convert it into Proton Maps, an open source high-quality maps app
Magic Earth seems to be the best alternative available right now to Apple and Google Maps. The problem? It’s not open source and its privacy claims are not independently verified. Proton should consider offering to buy out the small company behind it, convert the app to Proton Maps, make it open source, and run an independent security audit on it.
The UI design in Magic Earth is already pretty similar to Proton branding anyways. Easy win if Proton can afford it.

add free api to all of your services
Subject: Feature Request: Introduction of a free API tier for all Proton servicesDear Proton Team,I am writing to you as a dedicated user and supporter of your platform. I deeply appreciate your ecosystem's commitment to digital privacy, security, and open-source software.I would like to formally suggest the introduction of a basic, free API access tier with reasonable rate limits across all of your services.Providing a foundational, free API would bring great value to both your team and the user base:Developer Innovation: It enables the community to build secure, open-source integrations and complementary tools.Ecosystem Growth: It will attract developers who will…

[Proton Meet] Dedicated Proton Meet Category on the UserVoice Platform
It would be very helpful to have a dedicated category for Proton Meet on the service/feedback platform, even while it is still in closed beta.
At the moment, Proton Meet feature requests have to be posted in the general category, which makes them harder to find, track, and discuss. A separate category would improve visibility, feedback quality, and organization for both users and the Proton team.

Improve Newsletter View in Proton Mail
I'd like to have a filter on Newsletter View in Proton Mail to sort newsletters by unread AND recently received.
I'd also like to have a visual distinction between unread and read newsletters, similar to how it works in the inbox, so that I can visually tell the difference between newsletters I haven't read yet and those I've already read.3 votes -
Share album with public link
Currently, it is not possible to share a photo album or a photo using a “public link”; you must provide an email address, and the recipient must create a Proton account or already have one in order to view the content.
This is unlike images hosted in Proton Drive folders, where it is possible to create a public link.

Named Sessions
Named Sessions:
It is challenging when using different vpns or when cache clears to connect to a single session.
I end up having to login and clear sessions constantly, even with defined exceptions for cache because depending where I am the PC uses a different VPN.
It would be cool to be able to connect to a predefined session via some key or token or whatever mechanism may work to identify and authenticate a unique session beyond cookies.
That way you could have explicit sessions, and not have to worry about wondering if 1 of the 50 sessions that is…

Let us use Proton as a login option on third-party websites (OAuth/SSO)
Right now, most websites let you sign in with Google, Facebook, GitHub, or Microsoft. Sure, it's convenient, but these companies literally track everything you do across the web.
I think Proton should offer something similar - a "Sign in with Proton" button that works like those other options, but actually respects our privacy. It would use standard OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, so any developer could easily integrate it.
Why this would be awesome:
No tracking or data mining from Big Tech companies
Fits perfectly with Proton's privacy mission
One secure account for multiple services (with our existing 2FA)
Gives…

LaTex rendering in Lumo
When using Lumo in my web browser (both Firefox and Librewolf) LaTex does not render properly. For example, Lumo returned the following:
[ x^T A x \geq 0 \quad \forall x ]
instead of the actual LaTex rendering.
It would be nice if you could have Lumo actually render this.

Ability to categorize email aliases
Scrolling through the long list of aliases is cumbersome. The ability to group by category, possible with some visual separation either by grouping or color or icon category would make this easier to use and more functional.

See through all ideas
There are lots of ideas here on the platform. Many have already been implemented. Perhaps we should go through all the users' ideas and mark those that have already been implemented as completed with a link to the documentation page. That would save a lot.

Feature Request: Quick Language Toggle Button in Proton Docs Toolbar
Hello Proton Team,
I love using Proton Docs for its privacy and security, but I’ve encountered a workflow friction point when writing in mixed languages (specifically Danish and English).
The Issue: Currently, changing the spell-check/autocorrect language requires navigating deep into the global account settings (Settings → All settings → Language and time). For users who frequently switch between languages within the same session or document, this is disruptive and breaks the writing flow.
The Request: Could you please add a quick-access language toggle button directly to the Proton Docs formatting toolbar?
Proposed Functionality:
