delete button order
I'm used to Delete being the 3rd button in Gmail, I delete every email I read and don't need to keep. It's too far on the left and the confusing and unfamiliar button order is getting too difficult to get used to.
The best would be the ability to fully customize the email action button order, but just having an alternate order where delete is more aligned with the most used client, Gmail would be very welcome.
T for Trash is also strange for me, I'd expect it to be D for delete.
So, apples to oranges. But if I…

screen sharing for helping friends and family, fix there computer from a far..
Proton VNC or something.. Like "AnyDesk" but way more secure to help securely, connect two or more computers, for tech support, etc.. so you can help fix peoples computers, etc...all under the Proton label..
could have a built in VPN (using your credentials) to connect directly to the other computer without the need of a server in between.. Peer-to-peer, Point-to-Point..
actually maybe you could build this into the VPN client software. but with a toggle switch to completely bock it..2 votes -

move Account settings in All settings to the bottom
When openingen All settings in either Mail, or Drive (web app) the items at the top are Account related. The settings related to the specific app (Proton Mail, Proton Drive) are at the bottom.
This is (at least for me) confusing, because at first look the menu is the same in Mail and Drive, allways pulling my attention to "Your plan" (my subscription) and "Download Proton Mail and Proton Calendar" when i want to change specific settings. Is it possible to start the menu with the app specific items and move the Account items to the bottom ?

Copy Google Workspace
Simply copy all functionalities from Google Workspace while preserving privacy. The way their tools work smoothly and are interconnected is inspiring. Companies need a fully integrated ecosystem, and GWS achieves this perfectly. If you want to be their competitor, just adopt those functionalities.

Unified Login?
Currently, users have to log in to each website or app for all of Proton's services. Ideally, one could enter their login information and be logged in to all of the apps or websites on their device

Have chat or phone support for mail and calendars
Have a chat or phone support to be able to resolve issues or answer questions on the spot instead of it taking several days.
The possibility to have a conversation would allow much faster resolution and much easier onboarding for new clients.
One email every 24 to 72 hours means it can take over a week to resolve something and customers are stuck until the next email.
In my case it has been 9 days, and I just realised the solution confirmed as valid despite my doubts, by CS in today’s email seems to actually be moot, delaying me again…

Manage contacts on a separate page
It would be very useful to be able to manage my contacts on a specific page.
This would provide an overview of contacts, rather than just a small space on the right-hand side of the messaging app that doesn't show all the contact details.
It's a waste of time having to scroll through my entire list to manage it.Thanks

Offer French and Spanish versions of Proton
Non-English speaking Proton subscribers cannot understand most of the information and services because they are in English. Only a few pages offer a choice of languages.
What does this mean in practice?
Chat boxes, messaging, critical communications, etc., are only available in English, making them unusable for French or Spanish speakers. French and Spanish versions of the Proton website are essential. (Note: There are over a billion Spanish and French speakers worldwide!)2 votes -

The pass-cli docs are on GitHub, but it would be much better if the application itself was there also.

Mailbox for Unread E-mails in ProtonMail
Dedicated mailbox for unread emails:
An inbox that displays only unread messages would be very useful for users who want to focus solely on new items.Persistence of the “Unread” filter:
As an alternative, when applying the “Unread” filter in the “All Mail” mailbox, it would be helpful if this setting remained active when navigating between folders and upon returning, avoiding the need to reapply the filter each time.

Proton Tasks
A new product within ProtonMail and ProtonCalendar, similar to Microsoft To-Do and Google Keep
Task list in the ProtonMail side panel:
It would be useful to include, alongside the existing icons (Contacts, Proton Calendar, Referral, VPN, and Security Center), a dedicated “Tasks” icon. This Tasks section could be created either in Proton Calendar or Proton Mail. It would not be mandatory to assign a date to a task; however, if a date is defined, it could be automatically displayed in Proton Calendar.
Additionally, it would be interesting to allow linking related emails to a task (both received and sent), making…

Improve Proton Calendar notifications on Linux (sound, persistence, snooze)
On Linux (Ubuntu / GNOME), Proton Calendar notifications are easy to miss: they are transient, quiet, and disappear after a few seconds if you are away from the screen.
There is currently no way to:
• enable audible alerts
• make notifications persistent until dismissed
• snooze calendar remindersThis makes Proton Calendar significantly less usable on Linux compared to mobile platforms and even basic desktop calendar apps.
Please consider improving Linux notifications by supporting one or more of the following:
• notification sounds
• persistent / actionable notifications
• snooze support
• better integration with Linux desktop notification standards…10 votes -

There should be a button in the email client that opens attached files immediately without having to save file to disk with name.
Currently you click a file attachment and it might say "Preiew for this file type is not supported" and the email client displays a Download button. In other mail clients, there is usually an accompanying "Open" button, which saves the file to a temporary location on the harddrive and then opens it with the system's registered associated program.
On windows, they use the "open" utility, on linux it's xdg-open, etc, you can avoid having to save a file with a name to a location and then find that file to open it by just having a button that says "Open"…

Hide the unread count for spam
Currently, the Spam category shows a count of unread emails. This is kind of attention-grabbing when scanning the sidebar for what I should be paying attention to, so it would be nice to either not show it at all, or have an option not to show it.
The same goes for Trash emails, these things should be more “out of the way”.
This is especially annoying in the mobile app, because there is no way to hide the archive/spam/trash/all-mails like there is on web.
There are several requests and/or hacks for this on Reddit:
