  1. Multi-platform Contacts Manager for PC and Android

Contacts management happens on smartphones and most people use the google standard issue app. This raises huge privacy concerns. A Proton alternative could provide similar utility without the privacy issues of Google and could be made such that it syncs with a PC version.

  2. Remove special offer spamming for already members

Please remove these big flashcolours buttons from all our softwares (drive, mail, pass, ...) when we are already subscribed to a premium offer of Proton.
We do not care about Proton Duo spring sales when we are already subscribed for the whole suite until 2028 ...

  5. Web site source code verification to mitigate compromised code

I want to propose having web site source code verification. This would mitigate malicious code being service by the user web interface at proton[.]me. There are several tools, most famous being Meta's open source 'Code Verify' that uses published hashes.

It's no secret that Proton's web interface is a weak point for password compromise - such as via a court order. My proposal would require Proton, or a trusted entity, posting the hashes of known good Proton.me interface web site code. By allowing Proton users to verify the web site code they are being served, this reduces the risk of…

  6. Proton Sheets - does not support array-like indexing, example it does not have a way to dynamic skip rows automatically.

the formula for this is :
    =SUMPRODUCT(CHOOSE(MOD(SEQUENCE(COUNTA(D10:D19))-1,2)+1, 4, 1), D10:D19)
to multiply odd elements by 4 before sum the product
    =SUMPRODUCT(IF(ISODD(SEQUENCE(ROWS(D10:D19))), 4, 1), D10:D19)
or sum the product of two arrays but IF is not expanded to a array
Both should work but none do.

  7. Proton Sheets - Add support for Swiss francs CHF to currency formatting

The addition of Swiss francs CHF as a currency formatting option would be very useful. It is a surprise it's not already an option given Proton is based in Switzerland!

  8. codeberg.org

Dear Proton, I love you, I really do. but your Github space is a real disaster, protonsomething accounts everywhere. Why don't you restructure your presence by moving everything to codeberg (just to keep it fully EU ;) ) and making the existing ones a mirror of it?

ability to swap your account from individual to business and either pay the difference or get credit for extra payment. This would absolutely help.

  10. Mail + Drive plan

Plan for mail and 1TB drive. I get the other bundling but it feels a bit like cable. Let the users pick the permutation and compute the price/discount on the fly. My use case for Proton is emailing and delivering large files to my clients.

Hopefully SimpleLogin is added to that list of bundled services.

  11. Shared Android Account Authentication Across Proton Apps

Implement unified account authentication across Proton's Android apps, similar to Google and Yandex ecosystems. Once a user signs in to one Proton app, that account should be available for other Proton apps on the same device without requiring repeated manual login.

    Description:
Currently, Proton apps on Android require separate sign-in for each app, even when the user is logging into the same Proton account. This creates unnecessary friction. If a user is already authenticated in Proton Mail, apps like Proton VPN or Proton Pass should be able to detect and reuse that existing account session instead of asking for login…

  12. Not impressed yet

My husband has been raving about Proton for several weeks so I finally created an email and have been trying to transfer my Gmail to Proton. Unimpressed with the calendar (no 15 minute intervals, no clear time zone references so I hope I don't miss my interview tomorrow, can't click on the location to get directions to any locations). Unimpressed and very confused with the mail and passcodes. I've imported my Google and Edge information and have since created an extreme mess and I have no clue what I need to do to clean anything up and I now have…

  13. https://proton.me/pass/download should have a single link to install all the desktop apps

I just had to re-install my Windows 11 Professional system because of OneDrive corruption ( spent 4 days trying to save this thing and finally just backed up what I could to an external USB drive and blasted this with a clean install ) and now trying to get all my Proton applications re-installed on this desktop. ( Avoid OneDrive, especially when it MOVES things instead of just a backup and sync... without notifying the users. No network ( for ANY REASON ), no files !
What we really need is a SINGLE LINK so we can install all the…

  14. Add Monospace Option to Accessibility Font Family Setting

The Accessibility font family setting (Settings > Appearance > Accessibility) currently offers a small set of proportional fonts. Adding a monospace option would meaningfully improve phishing resistance for security-conscious users.

Monospace fonts make homoglyph attacks visible at a glance:
    - rn vs m — clearly two characters in monospace, nearly identical in proportional
    - l vs 1 vs I — distinct glyphs instead of ambiguous strokes
    - Cyrillic а vs Latin a — spacing differences become obvious
    - paypa1.com vs paypal.com — the 1 stands out immediately

    Feature Request:
Add a "Monospace" option to the existing font family dropdown in…

  15. One CLI for all of Proton Services (for humans and AI agents)

Feature Request: proton — One CLI for All Proton Services (for Humans & AI Agents)
Proton's suite of privacy-first services — Mail, Drive, Calendar, VPN, Pass, and Docs — is fragmented across separate apps with no unified programmatic interface. This makes it nearly impossible to automate workflows, build developer tooling, or integrate Proton services into AI agent pipelines.
The ask is simple: a single, composable command-line interface — proton — that covers all Proton services under one roof.
    Why this matters
Power users want to script their workflows. Developers want to build on top of Proton without reverse-engineering private APIs.…

  16. Add a function in the settings to automatically add "Request Read Receipt" to email

It would improve convenience to not click "request read receipt" every time you write an email. A function that does that for you automatically would be great.

  17. Adopt WEBCAT for all web-based applications

The whole existence of Proton revolves around a trustworthy, easy-to-use suite of end-to-end encrypted applications. But one thing is to use Proton's digitally signed mobile applications, another is to use Proton's web-based applications.

So I suggest the early adoption of WEBCAT, a Freedom of the Press Foundation project currently in alpha.

    From their website (https://webcat.tech/):

    """
    The Problem

Websites can change their code at any time, and HTTPS alone does not guarantee that every user receives the same, intended web application. WEBCAT addresses this by enabling signed delivery and transparency log–backed distribution of participating web applications, allowing end users…

  18. Have the same features on the iOS Proton Mail app as on the Windows app

I really need to be able to manage my filters and reorganize my folders on the iOS app.
This is possible on the Windows app.
When a feature is released somewhere, it should be implemented in all apps.

  19. Please support Korean in your program.

    Hello.

    I live in South Korea.

I recently discovered that using Proton is very useful for protecting my personal information.

I'm requesting Korean support for programs that don't support Korean, not for the web.

Proton Mail/Proton Calendar support Korean, but other programs like VPN/DRIVE don't.

It's a difficult question, but I'd like to request Korean support.

    Thank you.

PS) The English version was translated using Google Translate.

  20. MilaNote Alternative with Proton?

I've tried searching up options for a kind of "pin board" application like MilaNote, Thinker, AFFiNE, Obsidian, etc. for people who want to organize their writing/art ideas. However, it's hard to find any that are 100% desktop AND fulfill all the needs I have for such an application, which makes me worried about privacy issues (privacy issues being entire point of going full desktop/local).

MilaNote seemed the closest fit in terms of needs, but privacy concern was a deal breaker.

So if the only truly even mildly secure options available right now require internet connection to use anyhow, why not…
