How can we improve Proton?

  1. Proton Family pricing options

    I'm happy to see the newly released Proton Family plan! I've been waiting around for something like this for a while. However, I don't really need to support 6 users in my small family. Can we instead get pricing per member? The current pricing is about 3.33 USD per member per month, at 19.99 USD per month if you get the 2 year plan. How about flexible pricing: 2 members = 4.99 USD each, 3 members = 4.49 USD each, 4 members = 3.99 USD each, 5 members = 3.49 USD each, 6 members 3.33 USD each.

  2. Quantumcomputer Encryption [SECURITY THREAT]

    "SAVE NOW, DECRYPT LATER" is a big threat to all of our data and it's affecting us already.

    Considering Proton is at the frontier of online security and the relatively new announcements of NISTs Quantum Encryption methods, I would suggest you look into applicability of those methods to your services.

    I hope this makes it up the ladder, because this SECURITY BREACH AFFECTS EVERY PROTON USER AND EVERY SINGLE INFORMATION: Starting with all email traffic, to drive documents, calendar and even all browser history through ProtonVPN.   5. Unified account login for android apps

    We have multiple apps and each one requires to login even if the account is unique.
    Android can store account information, so as all Proton apps can share the same account to login.

  6. Integration with Nextcloud

    Netcloud is an interesting alternative to Office 365 and Google Workspace with allows data privacy that is in line with your philosophy but lacks of a good Mail client, as a fact the mail app integrated in Netcloud is very basic and is buggy. An integration could be very interesting and would improved Netcloud as app and Proton.me as solution provider.

  8. Switching Authenticators

    It would be nice to be able to change my Authenticator (TOPT) settings without having to first delete all of my 2FA keys. I simply want to switch from using Authy Authenticator to a different Authenticator app, but to do so I have to first turn off 2FA, which deletes all my 2FA keys. Most apps allow me to simply delete Authenticator app as a 2FA option, and then re-add it.

  9. Proton messenger

    Probably I'm too obvious but I do not understand why don't you work (or maybe u do) on Proton Messenger. War in my country has shown that you need a secure message exchange system. The best messenger on the market is Telegram. It is really the best one, no one is even close from all of the points of view except security, because they do nothing to prove they don't work with the Russian government. And basically, there is indirect evidence that they have some collaboration with FSB.
    I trust Signal but it is a disaster from a UX perspective.…

    Instead of using Google Chrome, Edge, or Opera. If you create your own web browser and Search Engine it would lead to better privacy and ease of mind for those against Big Corporations

  11. Suggest the following calendar improvements: Search function and the option to make appointments different colours

    Have been a Google Calendar user for a number of years and just switched to Proton Calendar. Proton Calendar surprised me as it is very smooth to use but it feels a bit naked without a calendar search function and different colours for appointments.
    The calendar becomes even more useful business tool if you can search it for customer details and a multiple colour option for commitments would enable fast recognition of important at a glance.
    Will miss these features from Google Calendar.

    Please make icon's theme-able. More and more 3rd party apps already support it, Proton sticks out like a sore thumb.

  13. Notes/Descriptions for "My Addresses" aliases

    Similar to how SimpleLogin allows you to add notes for each alias (under an alias's "Alias Description") so you can remember which aliases exist for which purpose, it would be helpful to have this feature as an option in the "My Addresses" section for ProtonMail as well. The more e-mail ProtonMail addresses one has, the more useful this would be!

  14. Synchronisation contacts with iPhone

    Hi Protonmail,
    I look forward to leave Google, but isn't for me possible yet. Mail works great, Calendar and Drive too, but I don't want to have multiple addressbooks (one in my iPhone and one in Protonmail). I'm waiting when synchronisation will be possible.

  15. Contacts App for Personal CRM

    I love privacy focused services like Proton, but the reality is that I am social in real life and require software to manage how I network. Personal CRM tools such as Covve are incredibly useful because it doesn't rely on using privacy invading social network platforms. It would be amazing if Proton offered to use my contacts as a personal CRM so I can take notes on my personal interactions and schedule reminders to follow up with people.

  16. Ability to choose color of labels/folders/calendars via hex code

    I would really like to see a change to the color options for labels, folders, calendars, etc. Specifically, I would like the ability to pick the color I want via hex code.

  17. Change the upgrade of 1 GB into 5 GB for free for all Proton products

    I recommend to change the storage for the free plan 5 GB instead of having 1 GB.

    I always wanted to get upgraded into 5 GB for free instead of 1 GB for a change because if I have so much storage on all Proton apps, then i don’t have enough storage.

  20. File Integration between Mail and Drive ( Attach / save )

    It would be amazing to be able to do the following:
    - Attach files to Proton Mail directly from Proton Drive (as link or as file)
    - Save files from emails to Proton Drive
    - Mass save attachments to Proto Drive
