  1. Proton Pass autofill popup covers the login button.

    Proton Pass has autofill which is great, but the popup is displayed over the login button which interferes with mousing over to click "login" on nearly every site.

  2. A videocall app comparable to MS Teams

    No email ecosystem can nowadays exist without a videocall app.
    Having to rely to external apps means setting up a calendar, copying the url etc.

    It would be easier to have a Proton videocall app.

  7. Add custom behavior to folders

    I would like, when putting a mail in a specificustom folder to trigger certain behavior such as for example:
    - Any email put in a custom Promotion folder self-destruct after 30 days.
    - Any email put in a custom Receipt folder get labeled a certain way
    - Any email put in a certain folder will put the sender email in a specific list

  8. Proton hosted SearXNG instance

    SearXNG is a privacy respecting, open source metasearch engine. It's great, as you can aggregate many search engines into one (google, bing, etc...), and that it's fully self-hostable.
    However, the issue is, that the instance provider has full support of what you send as queries to the servers. If you self host it yourself, then the queries still go through one IP address, alas still insecure.
    Here's where proton would come in, it's relatively easy to self-host, and would be a great alternative for people moving to a trustable searxng instance, since the main problem with it, is that you…

  9. Proton Pass To Do Lists; Reminders

    I think it would be excellent if you could expand Proton Pass to include reminders, in addition to the Notes functionality.

    I would love to be able to create 'to do' lists - with tasks I can check off - within Proton Pass, benefiting from the security and cross-device synchronisation Proton Pass provides. If this included functionality to be able to specify deadlines (with associated notifications), that would be even better.

    Like Apple Tag or Samsung Tag. I'd be great to have a secure and private tag for our backpacks and other thing. Location of these things is sensitive, so no big company should be able to collect them

  11. DRM enabled content to block Microsoft Recall on Windows

    With Recall poised to allow screenshots of emails to be stored, can Protonmail desktop client offer DRM protection on the viewing window (as apparently Recall will honor that), and - though I don't know how this could be done - enforce DRM on messages sent from Protonmail to stop the recipient inadvertently capturing information

    This should also apply to Instant Messages if Proton develop a chat appkication

  13. Encrypted Phone Calls

    Just looking for a great company to create a way so my phone calls from my current number are all encrypted. Keeping the federal government from wiretapping the line. But it needs to be a stand alone, so I can still use it, without the other person needing to also have the app.

  16. Please add a spreadsheet app

    A spreadsheet app with ability to collaborate with others on proton. Also have the option to either store a sheet locally (on device only) or on your proton account to be used across devices. Also, some kind of import system to bring existing sheets into proton sheets.

  17. Allow "-" (dash) on top of "+" for alias

    I would like to migrate my email from my server (postfix) to protonmail. I used - as alias. It seems that Protonmail only provides "+".

    Example:
    firstname-companyX@domain.com
    Currently,
    firstname+companyX@domain.com
    will do it

    It would be nice to allow this.

  18. Option to collapse sidebar (mutual exclusive)

    Proposal:
    Make the sidebar of the web view manually collapsable.

    Details:
    This proposal is only about the function collapsing sidebar itself. This proposal is not about how this feature would be implemented on the UI.

    Note: The idea of collapsing is the same. However the author did also mention a concrete UI implementation in his idea, which might make voting difficult.

  19. Rethink customer support

    Every time I submit a request for customer support, I get a response that misses the point, is vague and phrased in irritating corporate-speak. It seems to me that you are using some half-baked AI or some really stupid and/or over-managed people.

  20. Communication Channel Over Nostr

    It would be amazing to have a Proton communication channel over Nostr.

    Nostr is an open, simple protocol that allows decentralised, censorship-resistant communication.
    It uses public key cryptography to establish a user's identity and to verify that a message has actually been sent by that user.
    Data is stored and transmitted over many relays, and users can connect and publish to any number of them, making the data highly portable and the protocol resilient.
