  1. Notes/Descriptions for "My Addresses" aliases

Similar to how SimpleLogin allows you to add notes for each alias (under an alias's "Alias Description") so you can remember which aliases exist for which purpose, it would be helpful to have this feature as an option in the "My Addresses" section for ProtonMail as well. The more e-mail ProtonMail addresses one has, the more useful this would be!

  2. Ability to delete or change original email adress

I would very much want to be able to simply change or delete the original email adress that I made when creating the account.

The first email adress you create gets a version with all the available suffixes at the end.(example@protonmail.com, example@pm.me etc)

Thoes original adresses can't be changed, deleted or disabled and it annoys me; I want to get rid of them! Would be very cumbersome to create a new account just for this.

  3. Make all photos available offline on Mobile

Photos are very slow to load, making it difficult for me to scroll back and find particular events.

Individual photos have the option to "Make available offline", but when I select all the photos I can only Download or Move to trash.

I'd like an option to make all my photos available offline.

  4. Bank

    ⭐️
    Proton Wallet:

To enable better privacy for banking,
banking functions would be great in the future,
    such as:

    IBAN's,
    physical cards,
    virtual cards,
    and savings accounts,
as well as great functions for maximum control.

  5. Become a Matrix Messaging Provider.

I think Proton would benefit by opening up a messaging app that uses the Matrix protocol. Matrix is a federated protocol (like E-Mail), and it's built in the same style as Slack.

If Proton were to become a provider, users who use it will have usernames like, "@username:proton.me", and public rooms would be something like "#public-room:proton.me" on the Matrix Network.

It's entirely open source as well, and there is a server backend built in Golang called Dendrite, which developers might find use for. The main client is Element, which again is built after slack.

  6. Proton Map

WE NEED PROTON MAPS!! just make OSM but with a good interface so i can ditch Gmaps and make it easy to suggest edits that could atomaticly apply to the user suggesting it but would need to be approved for others to see it as well. That way the community can help it be better!!

  7. Set identity for contact

It would be GREAT if in our contacts we could set a default identity/email address to email that person from. So when I open up an email and type their name into the "to" box, it would default to the identity I have set in their contact.

  8. Proton Docs Improvement

    Hi.

It would be great to be able to click anywhere in the text document and be able to start writing without having to hit enter to get to the position where you want to write.

For example if you select a part of the text as a source code and it is you last line in the document, and you haven't created additional empty lines before doing that you cannot continue writing normal text. You have to go back, undo the whole thing, create empty lines and do it again.

    Best regards.

  9. ANSSI (France) and ISO 27001 certification for Secure Links and Vault

Like with HIPAA for the medical field, having this certification (at least in France) and possible look for ISO 27001 certification (worldwide) for these specific areas would be beneficial as a personal and business user (I hope to become business client soon). This is also useful for promoting your services to my clients, as I work in data protection.

  11. Proton hosted SearXNG instance

SearXNG is a privacy respecting, open source metasearch engine. It's great, as you can aggregate many search engines into one (google, bing, etc...), and that it's fully self-hostable.
However, the issue is, that the instance provider has full support of what you send as queries to the servers. If you self host it yourself, then the queries still go through one IP address, alas still insecure.
Here's where proton would come in, it's relatively easy to self-host, and would be a great alternative for people moving to a trustable searxng instance, since the main problem with it, is that you…

  12. ProtonOS + Kernel + Science Dev App Bundle

    Hi everyone.
This is going to be a bit long, I'll try to summarize:

The first step of a scientist should be to have an adequate base or environment to develop his task and projects, so I think that Proton should collaborate with and develop a kernel and operating system according to the capabilities of this great app environment and the moment history that we live as a society.

Developing a kernel and OS with Proton principles would be laying the first pillar on which to base our future, like plowing the land on which to plant crops. This is…

  13. Undo delete email

To have the option to "undo" if we accidentally delete an email! I pressed a button, thinking it was to delete attachment, but I accidentally deleted a draft email that I had been working on for a while. I would appreciate to have the option to undo a mistake like that if it happens again.
    Thanks !

  14. Proton drive should not have right to rename directory or file during synchronisation

This append when i rename my directory directly under my files. Proton drive rename directory and files and adding « name clash date ». The application should simply transfer directories and files to the cloud and not have the right to modify anything on these objects under my files. This is a bug very dangerous.

  15. Proton Cloud Sync

A new service similar to Multcloud by Proton.
This service only purpose will be sync/transfer between different cloud storage providers.

    Types of synchronizations:
-Programmed or One-Time-Run (Not real time):
    --One-way:
---Acumulative: removing files in origin won't delete files in destination, new files in origin will be copied into destination
---Mirror: origin and destination files are exactly same, deleted files in origin remove files in destination, created files in origin will be created in destination
---Update: all files in destination will be removed and then all files in origin will be copied to destination
---Update Transfer: equal to update but transfering…

  17. Show release notes pop up

All Proton applications are rapidly evolving. It would be awesome to provide a summary of changes when users open the app for the first time after an update.

  18. Add SimpleLogin to app switcher

When logged in to any Proton service (mail, calendar, drive, etc.) through the website, there are 4 squares in the header that when clicked show a list of Proton apps.

Please add SimpleLogin there as well. This makes it easier to open other Proton apps when already logged in to one.

  19. Make Archive a top-level action after reading a message

My normal action after reading an email is to archive it. Yet the archive action is generally hidden under a menu rather than being at the top level after reading a message.

On web, Archive is contained within a meatball menu at the top of the message. So after reading, it takes 3 actions to archive it: 1) scroll to the top, 2) open the meatball menu, 3) archive it.

On mobile Android beta, archive is not available on the bottom bar (the actions are mark as read, move, trash, and label). Archive should be one of these options -…
