  1. Forms for Proton Sheets

It would be good to have a form to interface with spreadsheets, so data entered can be limited to invitees while blocking update for existing entries. Possibly later, allow interface of Adobe fillable forms.

  2. Proton Docs Mobile and Desktop App

It would be nice if there would be an Proton Docs Mobile and Desktop App, because it is easier to work with an app as to open Proton Docs every time in the browser.

  3. Proton DNS as a Secure, Private alternative to 8.8.8.8 or ISP / CDS

    Dear Proton Team,

I recently got deep into DNS and found out that most DNS Servers out there are not very private.

Therefore I'm proposing, could be an addition to Proton VPN, a Proton DNS Server.

Examples of competitors would be 8.8.8.8 (Google), 1.1.1.1 (Cloudflare), or 94.140.14.14 (Ad-Guard DNS, the only somewhat private I could find).

This could also be the opportunity to build a CDS Network as a competitor to Cloudflare.

I'm sure this isn't an small project but this could develop into a trustworthy, private alternative in Europe against Google and Cloudflare.

    Stay Safe!

  4. New Product : Proton Backup

Back up Windows/macOS, iOS/Android, and cloud-to-cloud sources (incl. Proton Drive ).

End-to-end encryption, versioning, and incremental/deduplicated backups.

Scheduled and on-demand runs, with selective folders/app data.

Easy restore/migration across devices and providers.

Clear privacy model (zero-knowledge) and OAuth-based provider connections.

  6. Delete only future events of repeating calendar event

At present it is possible to delete either "all events" or "this specific event" in a repeating (e.g. weekly) event. I miss very much the option to delete all "future events" in a repeating event in order to keep the history of past events.

  7. Provide a roadmap and show status of popular suggestions

Is there a roadmap for what's on the horizon for Proton product offerings and features to existing products? My general impression is (and it may be wrong) that Proton is not responsive to user suggestions in a timely fashion and hence the same suggestions get suggested for years with no insight provided as to the status of those. E.g., if a To Do app is known to not be offered by Proton in the next year, just say so and then users can stop wishing for that and move on.

  9. I switched to Proton because I hate AI and it seems more reliable than gmail.

So please get rid of your chatbot. Nobody needs that. If your selling point is meant to be privacy and no chatbots, stick to that please and have some principles

  11. Landscape mode for Proton Calendar

Please add landscape mode for Proton Calendar. For tablet users, this is vital. For a calendar, landscape mode makes it much easier to see all events. In horizontal mode, many events are being squeezed on screen and not shown. It is very annoying having to constantly change the direction of one's tablet, when multitasking between the calendar and other apps.

Other Proton apps already have horizontal mode and it works great.

  13. Native support for Sailfish OS

There's already an idea for ProtonMail and ProtonDrive dating back to 2016, but it would be desirable to implement this for all apps. This would make a Google-free operating system increasingly realistic, as you wouldn't need all the Google services. Not even microG.

Especially since Jolla (https://jolla.com) places a strong emphasis on data protection and privacy with its OS (https://sailfishos.org). This aligns very well with Proton's philosophy, particularly in light of the upcoming release of the new Jolla Phone.

I, and hopefully other users as well, would welcome direct, native support. I don't know how deeply…

  14. Break page in Proton Doc

I'd like to suggest a break page in Proton Doc.
There isn't break page option, I red in some websites that I could do it with ctrl+enter but it doesn't work.

  15. More advanced mail search

The current Proton mail search is barely usable, even on web with the advanced search options. iOS app is worse.

A few features in my mind:

    1. Multi-word search string — e.g. "my order" so every hit must match both words in that order, to avoid getting a lot of false hits that mention both "my" and "order" in different parts of the subject.

    2. Search by subject only — currently I can only search by sender only, or recipient only, but not, but I get lots of false hits if the term I am searching is a common email address. Try…

  16. Proton Messages

When I try to replace my texting app with a FOSS version, I lose some of what I would say are critical features, attaching large files, like/reacts to messages, control over notifications. The dealbreaker to me here is the ability to attch large files. But maybe there's also a way to send encrypted messages using SMS/MMS/RCS?

I'd like a texting app the works over SMS/MMS/RCS and uses proton drive to attach files similar to how Google Messages uses Google Drive to attach files.

The links would need to be public links since its not sent over secure servers, but you…

  17. Lumo android app must not require google account

The Lumo AI app can't be used if the Android phone is not associated with a logged in Google account. This is quite bad for people that ditched Google in favor of Proton mail/calendar/drive/docs.

  19. [Meet] Create Ability to Record Meeting and Save to Proton Drive

Would love to get more people using Proton Meet with me since it's end to end encrypted versus zoom. However, many people won't make the jump since they require the ability to record and save a meeting i.e. for absent attendees.

  20. Proton Home – Smart Home Management by Proton

I’d like to propose a new service called Proton Home.
The idea is to have a central platform where users can manage all their smart home devices securely and easily, directly from their Proton account.

    With Proton Home, you could:

    • Control smart lights, thermostats, cameras, and other smart devices.

    • Set up automation routines (like turning off lights when leaving home).

    • Share device access securely with family members or trusted people.

    • Monitor device activity and energy usage in one dashboard.

    • Keep everything private and encrypted, in line with Proton’s privacy-first approach.

Essentially, Proton Home would allow users to manage their smart…
