in general, having the same set of features across platforms & versions really helps in creating a great UX
the reason for the version mention is, in the recent prod/stable version (5.2.40.2) of proton VPN for android the 'connect to random server' feature is removed, without any explanation or timeline on when it be added back!
while this is my favorite feature & already available in previous version of android app & in desktop app !!!

This might bring in additional revenue stream to proton as well, if API usage based pricing is established well, like other main strema offerings, where techncial enthusiest or app developers who might want to use privacy friendly e2ee AI in their app/service/usecase :)
