I'm very disappointed by this and as an Unlimited user, I'm going to start looking for alternatives and move away from Proton in 2024 if this doesn't change. And the BS arguments I've heard from Proton around distributions and desktop environments...just do flatpack, that's all you need

Thank you for making this suggestion. Yeah, Proton, please do this as a matter of priority. This would be really important to all linux users of your services. I've been on what you now call unlimited plan for a few years now, and this right here is the only reason I still have to use some other cloud solutions as well. It would really be awesome of we could auto sync folders, drives, and store backups from our linux devices directly to Proton Drive.
