    To answer the comment :
    >Definitely sounds incomplete since the new Sheets doesn't let you edit on a mobile >screen. Still waiting for a Google Sheets replacement on mobile...

    I ran into the same issue, and the only thing I had to do was to put my phone in landscape mode and it allowed me to edit
