An error occurred while saving the comment voyager2bird commentedComplimentary to this idea: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932839-proton-drive/suggestions/47687138-map-viewer-for-existing-geo-location-data-in-files
Having a google mymaps option with Proton would be great. The ability to create layers and add geometry (points, lines, and polygons) manually or from existing files on Proton Drive.
The ability to search for and save locations, save maps, share maps. I do like the idea of getting directions to then convert the route to a saved geometry.
I could see the 'photos' component of Proton Drive being built out to include a map component in a photo album. Or, attaching photos to points on a map.
A stand-alone maps application like google/apple maps would be amazing.

An error occurred while saving the comment voyager2bird commentedThis would be fantastic.
A robust tagging system with a great search/filter/query tool.
I would want some way to separate personal vs business bookmarks securely. Either using profiles (that require credentials to access), or the ability to password protect a folder.
A password protected folder option to secure potentially sensitive urls from family members.
The option to password protect the entire bookmark system with autolock options.
Would enjoy having the bookmarks saved to Proton Drive as a special view/UI to organize/search.

Proton and Standard Notes are joining forces: https://proton.me/blog/proton-standard-notes-join-forces
An error occurred while saving the comment voyager2bird commentedThis would be the feature that could divorce me from Microsoft / OneNote. Would need a web clipper function for FF at release.
I would accept less privacy (access to metadata) to have a great "search" function

An error occurred while saving the comment voyager2bird commentedthis would be a huge time saver for me. Also, a random Name (like first and last name) and physical address generator suggested here: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/47410232-random-name-first-last-and-address-generator

An error occurred while saving the comment voyager2bird commentedI'd prefer tags over folders. Tags are more versatile especially if smart search is included to show existing tags when typing.
The ability to store multiple tags per record is key. Tags are a requirement for me to migrate.

An error occurred while saving the comment voyager2bird commentedI'd prefer tags over folders. Tags are more versatile especially if smart search is included to show existing tags when typing. But yes, some level organization and search is needed.
There is also a similar request here: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/953584-proton-pass/suggestions/46864294-folders-attachments

An error occurred while saving the comment voyager2bird commentedMy preference is for a "Kanban" view as a secondary view to the thread list that Proton is now, so a user can toggle back and forth between the two views.
I would use Kanban more like multiple inbox for gmail. I love having different categories with their own lane to look down.
I could also see a kanban for organizing emails as tasks as well, using labels as way to sort the lanes.
There is a similar idea here: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail/suggestions/17725879-viewing-contents-of-limited-number-of-lables-as-in

That's almost 400 votes and would land at #11 on the top General ideas, or #6 for Drive ideas.
Agree with most other users, a replacement for Google Photos would be very welcomed. Proton Photos would have to deliver a mobile app, categories/directories (parent-level) and albums (child-level), sharing albums (add/remove members at the album or directory level), group share (ability for only album members to upload; or public link to upload). Include ability to add tags, filter by tag, and search by tag.

I would be willing to pay extra for this service so that I can use a number for purchases and a throw away number for services that require it but don't really need it.
