I find it interesting that the only option when downloading the file from Drive is docx instead of an open file format. We should at least be able to change this to something open and portable like Markdown (which, from memory, Standard Notes note entries are built upon).
I want to move away from having dozens of Word documents, not more of them.
(To be fair, there are more file types available if downloading a document from within Docs instead of Drive.)

From the lead dev on Discord (https://discord.com/channels/1178303648443416576/1446131971381137529/1446158781820960911):
“ not for now - we take privacy very seriously which means we don't ever see your file on the server, it's all client-side. unfortunately there are no libraries whatsoever for ODT processing for browsers, and making one is a pretty large effort we do not have the resources for right now.”
So I guess for now the process needs to be OpenDocument format > MS Office format > Proton Docs// Sheets.
Not sure about ODF, but so far I’ve had reasonable success copying the text of Google Sheet and pasting it with formatting into Proton Sheets.

The Family plan is designed for immediate family, not all the aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. You say 50 seats for Large Family plan is sufficient, but eventually the family will grow and you’ll need more. Should there then be a XL Family plan?
While I sort of get the use case, I think the reality is with this number of seats, you need to be willing to embrace the commercial offering and on-charge the cost to the members if necessary/ appropriate. I haven’t heard of any companies offering such generous limits on something designed for households, not to mention the risk that it’d be subleased to third parties.
Duplicate, and not currently possible to implement per this thread: https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/932839-proton-drive/suggestions/50778653-preview-and-open-odt-opendocument-text-files
