Alphabetical by name/title, and alphabetical by service/issuer.
I have found the current custom sort to be pretty unreliable… codes can randomly jump around, probably when it’s between sync states.
TLD assumes I can manually enter a website (which would be great to have the app fetch a missing favicon or logo).

This is super important once you scale to hundreds of codes like I have. Just a sea of letters. I think the best workaround would be to have a website field I can fill in, then have the app go out and fetch the favicon or logo.

I think AppImage would give the greatest benefit. It’s platform agnostic and works out of the box on any distro. Flatpak isn’t shipped on all distros and snap is its own political hot potato.
It also has the portability benefit and so works on any device, great for putting on an otherwise stock live USB stick in your bag.

I would be surprised if they released packages for other distros like Arch. However, I do think there would be a significant benefit to releasing an AppImage package for all their apps as it’s fully cross platform across all distros. Getting the additional benefit of portability means it also works on any device.

It’s nice that we can export from Pass and import to Authenticator, but I agree that wholesale sync should be an option.
