Currently all three of these systems have feature parity; the gap is in terms of UI, and this is something that we have in our plans to close.

Linux in Proton needs equality with other major supported OS's. This also includes DE's as wlll, not just Gnome (like the current VPN app for linux).
@Alvan Rahimil, Bridge made a complete mess of my Fastmail to Proton conversion. It also loads into memory on every boot and has no instructions on how to completely remove it from Linux. Fortunately I found it on Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/ProtonMail/comments/kpvu94/uninstall_bridge/
@Tory, I am not in favour of an Electron, AppImage or Snap app. Too many Linux incompatibilities (like AppImage does not launching at all with older kernels unless you heavily compromise the image security).
