As noted in other comments, any open standard is good. Anything you can already mount on Linux, presumably via a bridge.

If you provided well-documented APIs/bridges for all services, the Linux community could develop their own clients with tighter DE integration.
You can see a CLI example of this in rclone's support for Proton Drive.
This could be done in addition to, not instead of, packaging the existing Electron desktop apps for Linux.
