An error occurred while saving the comment Phillip commentedI think that this is the single most important thing Proton could do with their resources right now. There are other maps services based on Open Street Map such as Osmand~ and Organic Maps, but if Proton were to add reviews for businesses as well as keep it updated better, it would be totally game changing.

Introducing Docs in Proton Drive – collaborative document editing that’s actually private: https://proton.me/blog/docs-proton-drive
With Docs you can:
- Write with privacy — Create and edit documents within Proton Drive, knowing your contents are only accessible to you and those you choose to share with.
- Share and invite anyone — Invite other users to view or edit your documents with a single click.
- Collaborate in real-time — Changes are reflected immediately, ensuring every contributor always sees the most up-to-date version.
- View cursors and presence indicators — See who else is viewing or editing the document, enhancing teamwork and communication.
- Leave comments and replies — Add comments to share feedback without editing the document. Comments are visible to all collaborators, keeping everyone in the loop.
- Import and export with ease — You can upload .docx documents, edit them, and download in various formats like .docx, .txt, .md, and HTML.

An error occurred while saving the comment Phillip commentedProton does offer 2FA in Proton Pass and Standard Notes which they own has that feature if you pay for a subscription.
I would welcome a standalone 2FA authenticator app by Proton as well, but I don't think it's a huge priority since we have 2FA with Pass already.

An error occurred while saving the comment Phillip commentedThis would be interesting, however 2 things:
1) SMS is inherently insecure and there are some alternative SMS apps like Silence that work okay with minimal features and aren't google. I think Signal really has dominated the market of messages and Proton would have a hard time competing.
2) The most private mobile OS is GrapheneOS and they offer their own default SMS app that works fine. It's still inherently insecure because the SMS protocol is outdated, but it works.
I would welcome a Proton SMS app because why not, but I recommend just buying a Google Pixel device and installing GrapheneOS.

An error occurred while saving the comment Phillip commentedThis would be cool, but there are other apps which do effectively the same thing. GrapheneOS comes with their own privacy respecting gallery app and there are a handful on the F-Droid store.

Proton already has this to some extent with their VPN, but in general, anti-virus software is just very invasive. It's difficult to make one that's both functional as well as privacy preserving.
