I'm not so sure about using AI. Aside from that, some kind of Tasks/To Do list built into Proton Calendar or an additional app that is part of the Proton family would be excellent. Todoist is a great tool but is built to work with Google Calendar. It doesn't play nice with Proton. You can import your tasks to Proton Calendar once. But nothing ever updates in Proton. So, in the present form, Todoist and Proton Calendar just isn't a viable solution. Having the ability to create tasks and schedule them in Proton would definitely be a big plus to use Proton Calendar more.

This is a great idea.
I think a lot of Proton lovers and users would use Proton Calendar a lot more if there were some way to create and complete tasks built into Proton (or as a new app that is part of the Proton family but integrates with Calendar and Drive).
Additionally, this is a very great idea because as of right now, there is no way to connect an email from Proton Mail to an event in Calendar. Nor is there a good way to connect a Proton Drive file to an event in Calendar (you can use the description to copy and paste a link but it's kind of clunky).
With some kind of ToDo list app that is built into the Proton universe, you could fix all of those problems in one fell swoop. Connect an email right to a task that you schedule on the calendar to complete. And connect the file from Proton Drive right to the task so you have everything you need in that task (or event) in Proton Calendar.
