This is very important.
Most people are wanting to get away from Google / Microsoft as they are tired of their information being used to have unwanted services pushed towards them but more so because these organisations bend to the will of authoritarian governments
These are literally customers waiting to escape!!!
Expand the existing wallet, keep Bitcoin on there and add at least the top 10-20 crypto's and the privacy ones also (they are not in the top 10-20)
Proton Wallet can become the go-to security vault over time
Eventually you could just have an App called PROTON, the ultimate vault for EVERYTHING, all proton Apps and in that App you add on features, like Proton Pass, Proton Wallet, Proton Email, Proton VPN etc etc, this way everything is under one unified service face and you reference anything else from that App as a jump point
This might help unify some of Proton's services because at the moment the Proton world seems very disjointed, something are referenced via Proton Mail because it was the first offering and other things through an account interface, it makes for a rather confusing set of services, if it was all under one banner, you can simply enable the additional services and when you select that service, it merely invokes the separate App but at least everything from a UI perspective can be referenced under the one starting location
This would also let people know easily what other services they could enable as it would be on the one screen/AppPROTON
You currently enjoy: (paid)
- Proton Mail
- Proton Calendar
- Proton VPNYou can enable with payment:
- Proton Drive
- Proton Lumoetc etc etc, you get the idea :-)

SMS is inherently insecure, you'd have to wrap it in some secure protocol and many people have moved on to data encrypted messaging instead
This whole topic borders on things like DID's (decentralized identifiers) and SSI (Self-sovereign identity) if you want to go to decent privacy lengths
A number of Blockchains have already started work on this, Cardano being one that I believe has made some good progress
The whole idea of a phone number identifying people has more than passed it's use by date, same with emails in my opinion, but implementing something that is universal that protects identity fully is extremely difficult
