Just to add to this, it'd be nice if you could make the named range function dynamic/ auto-tracking.
This could either be done via:1) The Google Sheets Method (probably more user-friendly for beginner users) - named ranges automatically shift if you move the named area (column/ row) around (Eg user named A2:A999 as "Test Range" > User manually moves A:A to D:D > "Test Range" automatically updates to D2:D999.
2) The Libre Office Calc Method - allowing users to use dynamic/ tracking formulae for the ranges. Eg =INDEX($Helper.$2:$200, 0, MATCH("Account", $Helper.$1:$1, 0))

Agreed with OP's proposal. In case any Proton Admin is wondering why this feature might be useful, an example use case I have is: I have a "Certificates" folder on Proton Drive, I also have separate folders for significant institutions that I've interacted with to store admin stuff (eg my schools, uni and places of work etc). It'd be nice if I could store all my certificates in the "Certificates" folder and point towards it in the respective Institutions folders (or the other way round).

On the off chance anyone reading this is not familiar with what grouping rows/ columns mean, in other spreadsheet apps (eg Google Sheets), you often have the ability to group rows or columns. These grouped rows/ columns will then have a + or - symbol next to them, allowing you to quickly hide/ show them within the sheet. As OP mentioned, this is particularly useful when organising large thematically-linked datasets or, in my case, when handling line items that must be on the sheet 100% of the time but is only used by 5% of the people.
To see how this works, you can reproduce this in other spreadsheet apps like Google Sheets: highlight a bunch of rows or columns > right click > (Google Sheets) View more row actions > Group rows *** - yyy. As mentioned, after grouping them, you should see a + or - icon next to them. By toggling them on/off, you can easily hide or show groups of rows/ columns.
I appreciate that this is more of a niche feature but hopefully as Proton Sheets continues to develop, the devs will be able to find time to fit this highly useful tool into the programme :)
