    I'd prefer to see them extend Signal to add Business-to-Signal functionality. I don't live in a part of the world that uses WhatsApp but I believe this isn't a new concept.

    Supporting Business-to-Signal would also help eliminate the need for phone numbers, as Signal is finally implementing username-only accounts.

    It is not clear what "better" even means in this context or feature request. If anything, Proton should extend Signal to allow for some of the Business-to-user features that WhatsApp has. That is about the extent of what I feel Signal is missing at this point and what would make sense as a potential revenue generator for Proton.

    Don't replace Signal.
