Delegate Mail and Calendar viewer/editor accesses to a user(s) within your proton org.
Thank you for reading this. If you guys want Financial, Legal and Medical service providers (notably) to embrace Proton, I strongly recommend you implement this request.
A key missing feature is the ability to assign accesses to a user's inbox or calendar to another user (to avoid sharing credentials). In some regulated industry, this is necessary to properly execute compliance functions.
Three delegation profiles would be necessary for this feature to be effective:
Temporary: the ability for a user to delegate inbox/calendar accesses to another user for a specific amount of time (Holiday, Maternity, Illness),
Enhanced: the ability for a…

Add a link to the contact proton page after a user creates a proton account
After a user creates a new proton account, the account has initial restrictions to prevent spam/etc.... If the user completes this by upgrading immediately, these restrictions may not be lifted right away. The account holder has no way to contact proton about the issue, unless he/she tries to find it. Add a link to the contact proton page.
This link explains it.

Create settings option to choose folder to start new Proton Mail session
When I start up my Proton mail client (IOS and MacOS) the default folder is always Inbox. However, I have a bunch of filters firing that move my mail around and I want the first folder to load to be a folder that is selectable in the settings section.

Mozilla Firefox 143.0b5 x64 — "Unsupported browser"
When I try to open mail.proton.me I constantly see an error message with the text:
Unsupported browser. You are using an unsupported browser. Please update it to the latest version or use a different browser. More info
At the same time, on proton.me/support/recommended-browsers I read:
Proton Mail has been fully tested and works well with most modern browsers. However, we only recommend browsers that also respect your privacy. These include:
Mozilla FirefoxDid Mozilla break something in its beta, causing it to stop supporting something necessary for mail.proton.me to work?

Choose the language of the email sent by Proton for secure emails
Be able to choose the language of the email sent by Proton for secure emails. For example, if I want to send my secure message to a French-speaking customer, I'd like him to be able to receive the email in French with a link in French to “Learn more about password-protected emails” https://proton.me/support/password-protected-emails

Daily event summaries
Summary:
Receive a daily summary for all time-specific and all-day events (also if no events are scheduled)Description:
Some calendar applications allow you to configure a "daily event summary" notification (preferably via email). Such summaries contain an overview of all scheduled events (all-day and specific-time events) and is sent early in the morning. For example, Google Calendar provides "Daily Agenda", described as: "Receive an email with your agenda every day at 5 a.m. in your current time zone").Ideal implementation (to me):
- Create an account-wide setting to configure daily summaries:
* Globally enable/disable daily calendar/event summaries
* If enabled,…5 votes -
Offload Email on Mobile
The iOS app stores all my email on my phone which takes more space than I’d like. Please add the option to offload emails beyond a given age to store only on the server but retain enough metadata in the mobile app to search the full set of emails so they can be redownloaded on demand.

Add Email Re-edit Button
Add a button on every email that allows re-editing of already sent or received emails.
This way, for example, you can easily send a second email similar to an already sent one without having to copy and paste all the content into a new email again.

Allow customisation of Proton Calendar display (font etc) and other things - my top 5!
I think it's new, I cannot find any customisation of fonts for calendar app on iOS...
Having used CalenGoo for Google calendar, and now migrating away from Google, I can only strongly suggest to look at the depth of customisation that CalenGoo offers over even the native Google Calendar app.
Highlights for me, not exhaustive:
- customisation of font size, bold/italics etc., style, colour: important to allow more to show in the week and particular month view (my preferred view)
- display time at the start of a scheduled meeting in month view, not just 5 or 6 letters
- a proper search…

Preserve Reverse Alias When Forwarding Your Own Sent Messages
When an email is sent via a reverse alias, forwarding that same message (e.g., to add a missed recipient) reveals the sender’s real Proton Mail address instead of the alias. Users must manually edit the forwarded message to hide their real address, which is easy to forget and defeats the privacy purpose of reverse aliases.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a reverse alias (e.g., alias@protonmail.com).
- Compose and send an email to Recipient A using that alias.
- Realize you omitted Recipient B and click Forward on the sent message.
- In the compose window, add Recipient B and send.
- The forwarded email’s From/Reply‑To header now shows…

Profile picture for ProtonMail users
I know it's currently a bit difficult for an email server to show profile pictures on other email services, but if it's only available to proton users it would be very good, and it would be more business-friendly, without seeming like a strange service

S/MIME signature validation support for e-mail clients via Proton Bridge
Please add support, that an e-mail client connected via Proton Bridge is able to validate S/MIME signature.
Reason: Banks, delivery services, public authorities, etc. use S/MIME signed e-mails to prove that an e-mail is genuine. This helps fighting fraud, fishing and other criminal activites.
Context: Currently, S/MIME signature cannot be validate in Proton Mail. A validation with an e-mail client connected via Proton Bridge cannot validate an S/MIME signature because Proton modifies e-mail headers that are essential for a successful S/MIME signature validation.
The posted idea "S/Mime Support" at https://protonmail.uservoice.com/forums/284483-proton-mail-calendar/suggestions/16574134-s-mime-support requests for much more: a full S/MIME implementation.Although full S/MIME…

Email all participants
Like in Outlook, add an "Email all participants" Button to events.
Should open a Mail, like a reply all to the event. This is helpful for where I want to tell others, e.g.:
* "Sorry, I will be late"
* "Here are more details about the event"9 votes -
Filters should label mails both sent or received from same address
In a case to Proton support I asked why emails was not labeled accordingly, when the filter was defined as both recipient and sender. The supporter's answer was that I had to create two filters, one for sender address and one for recipient. This works, but I want to request an enhancement to be able to create a single filter with an OR statement, either recipient OR sender, with the same address.

A "sticky note" option for mail that is tagged "To Do"
I love the folder system on Protonmail and make good use of it. I also love the label system. Often, I will label an incoming e-mail "TO DO" and then slide it into a folder I've created. Could you consider a feature that allows the user to "place a sticky note" (so to speak) on an e-mail where they can jot something down that reminds them what they need to do next with that e-mail??
I picture opening my "TO DO" (labeled) e-mails one by one and, as I do, the "sticky note" reminds me what it was that I…

Upgrade Proton Mail app from using X11 to Wayland on Linux
Currently proton mail app on Linux is using X11/Xorg backend.
Project is now dead or close to be. It would be nice to update the app to use Wayland backend on every platform where it is available.
