Forward email as an email attachment (eml file incl. email headers)
Currently, Proton Mail allows to forward emails only as inclide cite (without - correct - formatting, and without email headers).
Please add the possibility to forward emails as an email attachment (email incl. email headers as an .eml file attachment) as well.

Reply to email with aliases
When replying to an email, and it was sent from an alias, auto select that alias, so the person knows who it is from. Having to manually select an email address can get tedious. A toggle could be added to allow this behavior or not.

Select multiple events at once in Calendar
I don't understand why this feature doesn't already exist. I imported my schedule into Calendar, but now I'm stuck with events that don't apply to me. Instead of being able to select these events all at once, I have to delete them one by one. Plus, the fact that you can't just press the “Delete” key on the keyboard to delete an event more quickly is pretty annoying.

Improved week view in mobile calendar
aCalendar+ has the best week view concept that I've seen. It arrays the days in a grid of 8 boxes, the last one being a miniature month view, in either a landscape or portrait view, and it only lists appointments, not every time slot of every day. Proton Calendar only has a portrait view with 7 extremely thin columns, which can be very tedious.
Proton needs some more options in this area! The 3-day view is better, but it only lets you see a couple of days ahead, not getting the picture for the full week in one glance.

Sync Proton Calendar with an iCal URL
Some professional calendars can be accessed by an iCal URL (e.g. the schedule of National Education schedules) and it would be very useful to import it automatically (rather than imports by hand).

Reading mode for email body
Reading mode for email body with the ability to choose font size and background color would have been fantastic.

hover shows actual email address
Proton Mail used to display the email address of the sender when hovering over the sender's name in a list. This features seems to have disappeared !
It is especially useful when an email appears which could be spam with a faked FROM name to show the FROM address. Then you can see Amazon / Ebay/ PayPal / YourBank is actually lyingthievingspammer@123456.co.jp or whatever.Another post mentions similar about links.
This is a really useful feature.
Bring it back ! Pleeeeease !2 votes -
Easy Switch has been running and blocking client UI for 2 hours. This should be a background task that doesn't block the UI.
Easy Switch is great - easy migration from Outlook, Google, etc. It's a classic playbook for a disrupter to make it super easy to migrate from the existing solutions. However the implementation seems to be running this client side and the effect is that a modal dialog has been up for nearly 2 hours as it migrates data. Anything taking longer than a minute or so should probably be a background task rather than blocking UI.

Alternating row color in inbox
Also known as zebra stripes. Title says it all. Looking to see where I can enable interchanging the background row colors between two colors (white and grey).
Simple theme change to help with readability or accessibility. Pretty commonly implement in many operating systems and other products.

Turn newsletters into RSS feeds
I really enjoy the new newsletter menu! A neat feature for this would be the ability to turn those newsletters into RSS feeds, so I can then easily read my newsletters in my favourite RSS reader.
This is my idea how that could be implemented:
There's a button to generate a dedicated alias that I can use to subscribe to a newsletter (similar to aliases for generating log in details in Proton Pass). Instead of landing in my inbox, the mails arrive in the feed. As soon as that alias was generated I also get a link that I can…2 votes -
Bring Web App Themes to Mobile Apps
This could be a relatively simple update for Proton - I'd love to see more themes and customizations within the mobile apps. The web app has great themes and it'd be great to bring these over to the mobile apps. Right now, the mobile app themes are a little bit plain. It would be nice to be able to switch it up!

Allow Sieve to filter email based on IP address (improve spam filter)
There are many emails that are clearly malicious, DKIM=none and DMARC=none, and the source IPs are listed on Spamhaus and AbuseIPDB. It would be great if Proton can immediately discard those emails, whether automatically or manually by using Sieve filter.

Proton Calendar, add-on to show week/month in a quick way
Hello,
It would be good to have an add-on to quickly show week/month, without opening the entire website.

Mail mobile: fix swipe to honor last gesture made
I customized my swipe controls: swipe right to archive, swipe left to delete. But if I start to swipe left and notice the red trash icon, then swipe right instead, I see the green archive icon but the message still gets deleted instead of archived. Same in reverse. You need to make it respect whatever action I do before lifting my finger, regardless of if I started a different motion before that.

vary font sizes in inbox message like outlook
Improve inbox interface by differentiating font sizes between subject and message (like Outlook). In the column view, the inbox lists who the email is from and the subject line in the same font size. Outlook makes the from line much larger and the subject line smaller. This is a small, seemingly simple, change that would make a world of difference in glancing at your emails quickly.

Display most recent attachments instead of oldest
Currently, the new Mail app on Android (version 7.0) only shows the two oldest attachments from an entire email thread when it's displayed in the list view. However, I think it would be significantly more useful and convenient to see the two most recent attachments instead. It is usually more relevant to see the most recent attachments instead of seeing attachments from emails from a few years ago.

ICS import fails when VEVENT uses custom TZID ("Customized Time Zone")
Description
Importing an .ics file into Proton Calendar fails when a VEVENT references a custom timezone (e.g. "Customized Time Zone").
This appears to happen when the TZID parameter is used directly in event fields.
Example
Example snippet from the ICS file:
BEGIN:VEVENT
DTSTART;TZID=Customized Time Zone:20260316T083000
DTEND;TZID=Customized Time Zone:20260316T093000
SUMMARY:Example Event
END:VEVENT
Expected behaviorProton Calendar should either:
resolve the custom TZID via the VTIMEZONE definition in the ICS file, or
fall back to the provided UTC offset.
Actual behavior
The import fails because the custom timezone cannot be processed.
Context
ICS files exported from calendar clients such as Outlook often…

Allow non-Proton users to edit Calendar
It would be very helpful if a calendar could be shared with non-Proton users in edit mode. Now it is only possible to allow external users to view a calendar, but they cannot add items to it.
Yes, it could be achieved by everybody using the Proton Calendar app, but as everybody has their own app, it would be very nice to have a standard integration to allow everybody use their own agenda app.
