Proton docs restarting when rotated
When viewing docs on the android app and you rotate the screen the app restarts. This is really annoying when using it as a shopping list.

Add switch to prevent trash emails being sorted
When adding a new filter and "applying to all", it sweeps up previously deleted emails. Add a switch to the filter creation to explicitly exclude Trash during filter creation. Clearly any new mail will filter correctly once the filter is set up.

Extra Cold Storage Folder for Mail with Separate Encryption-Key and Password
Option for an e-mail archive (for old or sensitive emails) with a separate encryption key and password.
This would enhance security and improve speed, since when the archive is locked, the number of emails included in searches would be significantly reduced.

iPad Website Scrolling
When viewing an email, if you try and scroll down it does not work. You have to move your cursor to the side of the email into a very tiny space that belongs to the Proton UI. Obviously you can scroll from tapping wherever you want just not using the iPad touchpad.

Restrict SMTP Token to Specific Recipients to Limit Damage if Leaked
I need a secure way to use SMTP tokens on a webserver so that, if a token gets leaked, the potential damage is limited as much as possible.
My main requirement:
The token should only be usable to send emails to a specific set of recipients. I want to be able to define (and limit) allowed recipients (by full email address, or by recipient hostname) when generating or issuing the SMTP token.Key points:

Add option to disable update notice for proton-mail desktop app
I use the desktop application on CachyOS which I know is not a supported distro, I am not asking for official support but I hate that annoying blue banner at the top just because my desktop app is a single build version behind the official packaging. I would like the option that most other linux applications have to disable self-checking for updates. A simple toggle would be fine.

When I receive multiple emails from same sender - marketting
I have occasionally received 4 or more emails from the same "valid" sender - promotional.
Could I return these en-masse to make the sender awate?I know I can "save to PDF" and attach multipple attachments, bbut a simple click on many to send in 1 email.
Not a game changer but would be useful.

Unlimited character and tap to action
Option to add full description with out limit in event creating and tap to call, tap to email, and tap to navigate option if calendar detect phone number, email address or location in description. If calendar detects email address, please add option to send automatically invite of the event to the person

UI - Button title for connected services table is unclear
In Proton Mail, in Settings > Security and privacy > Third-party apps and services
The table listing services just says "Connect" if the service is not connected under "Connection status". I find this confusing. I would rather it more directly said "Not connected".
Since this deals with security settings for accounts, I think it's incredibly important that this UI element is ambiguous and easily understood at a glance. The current button title also doesn't match the column title. The column title says "Connection status" but then the button says "Connect". Please make this more explicit for when people are quickly…

Fix issue with event notifications showing the time as one hour too early
All of the notifications I now receive from Proton Calendar are an hour early. The event in the calendar shows the correct time, but the notifications come an hour early and show the event time as an hour early.

It would be nice of the notifications from the Proton Mail IOS app would be deleted when you read the mail in the app.

Move emails by Number of Days
When you create or edit a filter. Have an option to either move the last say 30 days of mail to a new folder, or even the last years worth of emails from where they are to the new location. This option could be configurable.

Show Actual Datetime for Email Messages
Instead of displaying "Yesterday" or "Oct 20" for the time it would be more helpful to show the actual date+time in the inbox and in the message header.
There has been a recent trend in email and messaging apps to hide the actual message time and show "friendly" labels. These labels make it much more difficult to keep track of very busy inboxes.
Tooltip/hover text isn't enough as it cannot be viewed at a glance and requires mouse interaction.

Easier / Faster Account Switch (Android / iOS App)
Hello!
Please make the process of switching between multiple Proton accounts faster in the Android / iOS apps. Currently, we have to click the user icon in the top right corner, wait until the bottom menu appears, and then select the account we want to switch to.
This could be simplified further by using something similar to Gmail, where you can just swipe up or down on the user icon to quickly switch between all your accounts, which avoids having to make two taps just to switch.

Choose which calendar to put event that you have been invited to
You can accept an invite which puts the event into the calendar. However it is not possible to choose in which calendar to put the event, it goes automatically into the "my calendar" calendar. Further sou cannot change it afterwards. Make it possible to choose right in the email app where to put the event

Let filters and Sieve rules assign Email Categories
Email Categories can currently only be influenced by manually moving messages and waiting for the model to learn. For some senders this never converges. For example, Substack newsletters are consistently put in the wrong category for me, even after repeatedly moving them to Newsletters. Users need a deterministic override.
Please add:
1. A "Move to category" action in custom filters, and a Sieve equivalent (e.g. setcategory "Newsletters";).
2. An "Always categorize this sender as ..." option, like the existing "Always move sender's emails" checkbox, ideally also at domain level (e.g. *@substack.com).
3. Clear precedence: explicit user rules override automatic categorization.…

Matching colours for events in a shared calendar
My wife and I have a shared calendar. When I create a calendar event and assign it a colour category, the event does appear in my wife’s calendar, but without the category colour. This makes it difficult to identify calendar events relating to specific topics at a glance and to keep a better track of things.
