Get recognized by Gmail.
Emails to friends who use Gmail or one of AT&T providers go straight to spam, even after they add me to their addresses, unless I am replying to their email. It's ridiculous that I have to go to Gmail to tell them to check their spam folder.

A broader range of wildcard placements are needed to block unwanted domains. IE: *@*.*uk that would block everything with a uk in the domain
IE: @.*uk that would block everything with a uk in the domain. I get slammed every day with uk and de domain variations and I would really like to be able to use wildcards for a block entry just once, to take care of a problem I am plagued with on a daily basis. I know no one, nor do any business in uk or de territories and it is getting to be quite ridiculous. Currently, the only place a wildcard can be used is for the username in the emial address.

Allow users to verify backup keys
I am terrified that I have saved the wrong backup keys. Or that over time I have created new keys that have been lost thinking old keys I have stored are still valid. I would sleep much better at night (and be more comfortable using more Proton services) if there were a simple tool that would allow me to verify I have all the necessary backup codes to recover my account in the future.

Monitoring for ProtonMail onion service
The ProtonMail onion service is a great resource to have. However occasionally I am unable to connect to it and instead receive an error of 'Onionsite not found', a timeout or similar despite requesting a new identity in Tor Browser which implies it is having an outage. In those cases the clearnet version of ProtonMail is functional and status.proton.me does not show any issues.
Guessing the status page infrastructure does not monitor the onion service? This should be rectified.

Display the newest email in a thread at the top of the thread list, not the bottom
In the case where a user has a long thread of emails (e.g. they get a monthly email over and over, and archive those emails instead of deleting them) it doesnt take very many messages before the thread becomes difficult to navigate.
Primarily, this is caused by the fact that each new email in a thread is shown at the BOTTOM of the thread (after all the previously received and read emails) instead of the TOP.
This results in a lot of pointless scrolling to get past all the messages the user has already processed in order to view the…

Locking Folders
I think folders should lock by default. It would be nice to be able to set up a regular filter to skip the inbox for certain messages and put them directly into folders (which already exists), but the caveat is that the folders should have an option to require a pin or password to unlock the folder. In essence, this would allow the filter to send the message to the folder, but the folder can only be opened, and its contents viewed if the correct password/pin is input. Prevent Proton Mail to collect (wrong) e-mail addresses
If one sends a message with Proton Mail application (Android/iOS) to a person who has a valid e-mail address with his/her name already in the Contacts, but using his/her old/wrong/obsolete e-mail domain, the e-mail address gets registered in Contacts. The e-mail itself will be returned like boomerang. From now on, Proton Mail suggests always the wrong e-mail address together with the right one when a message is addressed to this person. Depending of the order, it may go unnoticed. Also, the receiving Proton Mail application registers this wrong e-mail address in all recipients' Contacts and the error propagates.

Bonjour.
Les alias sont une fonctionnalité essentielle de Protonmail plus!
Avant on pouvait depuis protonpass sur protonmail crééer autant d'alias que l'on voulait sur simplelogin.
Du jour au lendemain ce n'est plus possible.
Je trouve que ce n'est pas juste du tout!
Ou alors ajouter cette option pour 1,- par mois aux utilisateurs Protonmail plus!

Hover to preview first 1-2 lines of unopened email
an optional hover feature would help me to prioritize my email replies: hover cursor over unopened mail in Inbox to view the first 1-3 lines of the email (3 might be needed if email begins with Dear ____, skipped line, then body of email begins)

I'm not using encryption on Protonmail and upsettingly have to buy a Egress because I need the expired sent emails to still be visible to me (and potentially resent when prompted by my clients).
it would be great if Protonmail could store the expired sent emails in a folder instead of deleting them automatically after only 28days!

Auto-lock with pin after set duration
Hi,
That suggestion was already done, but many years ago.
I'd like the same auto-lock mechanism than in Proton pass : auto-lock after x minutes and then PIN code required to unlock the session.

easy switch
Easy switch, tried hate it! i like to have everything organised, in separate folders, so please is it possible when using easy switch to have option Create folder for this account and then all emails will show in this folder and subfolders not in general inbox? PLEASE!!!

Desktop app -- shows the folder where an email is located
When clicking on an email in the desktop app, it would show the name of the folder where the email is located.
