  1. Show thumbnails for offloaded image and video files on Windows

    Currently when files are offloaded on Windows, there's no image or video thumbnails generated, so you either need to use the web app, or need to re-download entire folders of files back to the PC just to be able to find a specific file.

    It would be much better if these worked like OneDrive and iCloud Photos where the files are stored online-only but are still able to generate local thumbnails for quick and convenient browsing.

    Ideally this should also support modern image and video formats (AVIF/AV1, HEIF/HEVC, WEBP etc) as well as just the basic JPG and PNGs as…

    Folders and files that have been shared with me should also be searchable. Currently, these are not included in the search.

  3. Selectable language/region formatting in proton docs

    It is very annoying that when I edit a proton doc (spreadsheet), all the numbers and dates are using a US format, despite my Proton Drive account being set to Danish language.
    Please add the option for the user to select the formatting of dates and numbers that they want to use, regardless of what language their browser/account is using.

  4. Selecting which cloud-based directories or folders to sync to your local device

    This feature allows you to select which cloud-based directories to sync to your local device. This is great for shared/office devices, as it allows you to only access specific cloud-based folders on your local device. This prevents someone from seeing the entire contents of a cloud-based directory or folder (OneDrive has this feature).

  5. Add a setting to set additional paths for automatic photo backup

    Currently, the automatic photo backup feature on Android only looks for photos in the Camera and Screenshots folders. I'd like for there to be a setting to add additional folder paths that will be backed up, so that for example photos in my downloads folder will get backed up.

  6. Version History should show time.

    Version History only shows the date and not the time. If I have multiple versions in one day I have to do multiple clicks back and forth to the details modal in order to see the time.

  7. Multi account on Proton Drive PC application and access history in docs by email

    Multi accounts on Proton Drive PC application (like Proton Mail) would be very helpful for users who have more than 1 account to manage, we need to make loggout and login again on Drive creating every time a new folder in PC w/ different names to access the documments on the cloud. it makes everything confuse and impractical.

    Additionally, I suggest to implement an access history for docs by email/PC-ID and an easy buttom to download the registers (for controllers/creators) - very useful for business access control and compliance.

  8. Notes Standard available from within Proton Drive and option within Standard Notes to save to your Proton Drive

    I am just now starting to use Standard Notes which was brought to my attention at Proton site, I would like to be able to have the option to save directly to my Proton Drive Files and be able to access Standard Notes from within my Proton Services when I'm using them.

  9. Add option to regenerate Thumbnail images

    Sometimes the Thumbnails don't seem to get generated, or simply wrong for some reason. Add an option to rebuild/regenerate the Thumbnails would help.

  10. Some feature for app

    I hope these features will be available on iOS and Android.

    It should be possible to share files from anywhere on the phone with the app so that they can be uploaded, such as photos or other types of files.

    There should be a video player within the app that supports video quality control, as well as an audio player.

    It should be possible to upload selected photos without having to obtain permission to access all photos.

    Alternative connection options should be provided in the app to solve the problem of apps being blocked in some countries, such as Proton…

  12. Drive Mount Point

    Please remove the "My files" subdirectory from the drive mount point. When setup asks where to mount the share, if I put in C:\Users[UserName]\Proton. That's where I want it. I do not want an additional subdirectory. I especially do not want one with a space in it. Just mount it where specified.

    Please keep the font consistent within a document. Currently it reverts to Arial with a new cell in a table and other random places throughout the document.

  15. Locking files / Hiding files on Proton Drive

    I would like Proton Drive to support client-side locked folders that require a secondary authentication step (such as password re-entry, hardware key confirmation, or biometric verification) before file is decrypted when signed in.

    This would prevent opportunities for opportunistic individuals to get access to the most sensitive files someone has when their proton drive session is opened.

  16. Download folders from Drive on Android

    Hi,
    I would love to be able to download a folder from Drive to my internal storage. Currently I can only download files and new to recreate the folders if needed.
    This clutters my download folder and I can't find stuff.

  17. External requests and scripting in Proton Sheets

    Really happy with sheets so far, thank you proton team!

    One thing that would make me switch is appsscript like functionality, at least, someway to programmatically update cells (using timer or on-open, or e.g. via button). It also needs to make external requests so external data can be loaded into it.

  18. Add selection options to mobile app photo upload

    Add toggles to choose functionality from in photo upload:

    1. Videos on/off
      Include videos in the camera upload.

    2. Background on/off
      Allow camera upload in the background.

    3. After activation on/off
      Only items taken after enabling camera upload will be uploaded.

    4. Disable autolock on/off
      Enables app to upload in the foreground without screen going off.
