1. Kindle integration

   For those with a Kindle, the only options for integrated cloud storage are Dropbox, Google Drive and One Drive. Would be great to have a more secure option with Proton Drive.

   A small market of course, but thought to try by adding it here :)

3. Select AND view photos

   Weeding out a bunch of photos is easily done be selecting multiple photos and clicking delete. Nice.
   But as you are selecting, it would be really nice to be able to open a photo for viewing. Currently you cannot view a photo if any are selected.
   I would very much like to be able to open a photo for viewing while having a selection, and having the selection retained while viewing the photo. Maybe even having the option to add/remove the currently viewed photo to the selection.
   This would also be very helpful when selecting for an album.

5. file manager

   A file manager based on proton, the default android file manager is a mess and even google files is pretty lame and not easily navigated, on windows "files" app is a good alternative for file manager and on mac the default is pretty decent and there is eagle both for mac and windows but it is not available for android or ios, it would be good to see something like eagle for phones and computers both integrated with proton drive like icloud on ios and mac

6. See backup status of uploaded documents

   I think it would be nice to see the upload status/percentage for each file as it’s being uploaded. This is especially helpful when adding a folder as a backup in the “My Computer” tab or when uploading large swaths of files.

8. Photo Sync - Customizable time table

   Currently, Proton Drive (Photos) allows users to back up their photos, including over mobile data, and specifically select where they are uploaded from. But, daily, many users take pictures or screenshots to send to friends and family only to delete them minutes later. Or, take multiple pictures of a single event just to pick out what they like the most and delete the rest. If users don't go into their photo backup regularly, it can be swamped with tons of pictures that users need to parse through and get rid of.

   Would it be possible to allow users to select a timetable/schedule to upload their pictures and reduce clutter and constant maintenance?

   Example:

   Settings menu > Photo backup > Enable photo backup.
   A grayed-out dropdown menu underneath is enabled with the following options:
   - Automatic (default)
   - Every 1 hour
   - Every 24 hours
   - Every 7 days
   - Every 30 days

10. Enable option to untar/decompress tar[.gz] archives

    Uploading a lot of files is not efficient. At least in my experience, it might take days to upload 10K+ small files distributed in multiple directories.

    Would it be possible to allow the user to decompress/untar uploaded single/multiple .tar archives ? This might help uploading data faster (multiple files in a tar archive). Implied is I guess an increased file size limit.

13. Make docs formatting dropdowns on mobile app more stable

    I'm so glad to see more formatting features showing up. On my android, when I go to select a formatting feature, I have to hold down my finger on it and then select it. Otherwise, the dropdown disappears without me being able to select the formatting feature. Thanks.

14. Fix: When replacing selected text in docs, more text gets deleted than was selected

    Maybe it depends on the operating system or browser, but on both my devices (PC and android), I'll select text I don't want anymore. Then I'll type in new text to replace it. But instead of only replacing what I selected, it deletes some extra text that I didn't have selected. So I lose words. If I hit Undo, I might forget the new idea I replaced the old text with. If I don't hit Undo, I forget the words that I didn't want deleted, but which got deleted. This still happens after reinstalling the app and restarting my phone. Please make it so only the selected text gets deleted, not more. Thanks!

    Using the Family Plan is unintuitive. If one does not set all accounts up right after subscribing, a labyrinth of dead-ends opens.
    Imagine the most basic site to add new members, switch subscriptions, manage preferences!

    The Open Publication Distribution System (OPDS) is an open standard that allows content servers to syndicate their publications, like e-books and comics, in a catalog format. This enables reader applications on devices like iPads and Android tablets to directly browse, download, and sync content from a remote library. I propose that Proton Drive implement OPDS support, allowing users to generate a secure OPDS feed for any specified folder.

    This would function similarly to how many reader apps currently integrate with Dropbox or Google Drive. A user could simply right-click a folder (e.g., "My E-Books"), generate a unique OPDS URL with secure credentials, and plug it into their favorite OPDS-compatible reader app. Implementing this feature would be a significant strategic win. It would immediately close a major functional gap with competitors, making Proton Drive a feature-complete, private alternative for the large community of users who manage digital libraries. This transforms the service from a simple file vault into an active, integrated part of a user's daily life, dramatically increasing ecosystem stickiness.

18. Async changing folder

    When a user move multiple documents to another folders, the user needs to wait until all documents are moved wich can tak more then 30 seconds.

    As a user I want to wait inder the 3 seconds when moveing document to another folder. Is it possible to do a Async request of changing folders so that the user can continu using the app?
