Hi,
I use Docs in several ways, as an writer, one of which is to write lore encyclopedia in it. One tool I've always missed is the ability to add modules, working like tables, with timelines, family trees, or other similar tools to efficiently record all the information I need.2 votes -
Connection to annotation apps on iPad
I need Proton Drive to sync with an annotation app on my iPad - really any app that applies, e.g. iAnnotate or Notability.
As of now, I can annotate documents and the changes are saved directly to my OneDrive. I really need this feature in Proton Drive too.
Please take it into consideration - without this feature, Proton Drive isn‘t of any use to me.2 votes -

File name conflict errors should be shown on web app
Sometimes when creating a new file, especially Proton Doc file, the file name actually conflicts with Windows but Proton Drive web app doesn't tell.
Only until I saw it in Proton Drive desktop, I knew about naming conflict.
For example, I made a file name similar to this with slashes on Proton Drive web app:
CPU/GPU CostsI know that clash only happens on Windows, not Linux (limits this slash only and not other chars), but maybe a small alert on web app should be nice.

Recent files list in browser interface
Like in Google Drive
My case: Accidental mass changes and reversion, wanted to find the files whose changes I want to keep based on time synced. I can't get them back since I don't remember all of which files they were.

Docs: Preserve RTF / HTML formatting on paste or load
It would be nice if, when pasting or loading formatted (italic, bold, etc.) text into the Docs editor, the formatting was preserved.
As a writer/editor I'd like to use Proton Drive to share edited manuscript copy with clients, but dropping the formatting makes this impossible currently for anything chapter-length or longer—I can't hunt down every single word my client has chosen to inadvisably bold. :)
This is related to the request for Markdown, perhaps, but often I am working with docs prepared in a word processor, so rtf and html formatting on paste would be nice too.

Can Proton Drive be made compatible with MacOS Time Machine to perform complete backups? Or will this always be impossible?

Auto-SUM in Proton Sheets
Could we please have auto-SUM feature for Proton Sheets? So we can just mark for example the bottom of a column and press SUM and get the result?

Enable "folder activity" view (like in G••gle Drive)
In Google Drive, when clicking on a folder or file, in the right sidebar there is an "Activity" tab showing the history of the folder / file. I used that for collaboration a lot to check for major structural changes in the folders.
In case this would somehow pose a security risk, let me know here in the comments, I'd like to understand.

Longer expiration data period when sharing a Proton Drive file
Maybe there is some technical obstacle that You do not offer longer link expiry date when sharing a file? It seems to be just a few months maximum, while I would like to set the expiry like 2 years from now. Ideally also ticking option to also delete the file once the period is over.

Please market your upgrade plans less aggresivly
I think you market your upgrade plans too much and is should be cut down to when the thing you are suggesting to fix is actually a problem for example I only want the get an ad about getting more storage when I actually run out not every time I open proton drive. It would be a more pleasant uter experience not to have to click away all ads before actually getting to use what you want.

enable creation of file & folder aliases (or other multi-instance localization of folders and files)
I come from mac, so I'm used to creating aliases.
Example: I have a folder with reference images. In a painting project, I select reference images from that folder. I want to only add an alias to the project file, so the reference images remain accessible when I look for them in the original reference images folder.

Proton Sheets: Ctrl + Semicolon Date shortcut
Add a shortcut available on Excel and Google Sheets, where Ctrl+Semicolon allows for the date format to be inputted in the format that the user has already selected for that cell.

pdf reader improvement
If a link is to a pdf and so opens in a pdf reader embeded in a proton page, I can click the Download button and the file will download with the proper file title. However within the reader is a download arrow. If you were to click on that to download the file the file name is a garbled number and letter sequence. I've tried this with another cloud drive service which the process looks nearly identical except that clicking the download arrow retains the file name. Give raw link so photos can be embedded in Proton Mail
Give raw link to an individual image so that image can be embedded across the web. Including as a signature in proton mail email.
