.XLSX files - duplicate files / read-only
When opening an existing .XLSX file within Proton Drive, this creates a (1).xlsx file. Ideally it would open and update the existing file, otherwise it will continue to generate multiple duplicate files (1).xlsx, (2).xlsx, etc. Alternatively, an option to open as a read-only version here (for original uploader) might be helpful.

I love computers - but havent got the energy like 20 years ago. So Im only using Proton as

preview all files in album, even heavy content
As a user, I want to be able to preview all files in the photo album, especially heavy videos which for now only displays "This file is too large to preview".

Connection to annotation apps on iPad
I need Proton Drive to sync with an annotation app on my iPad - really any app that applies, e.g. iAnnotate or Notability.
As of now, I can annotate documents and the changes are saved directly to my OneDrive. I really need this feature in Proton Drive too.
Please take it into consideration - without this feature, Proton Drive isn‘t of any use to me.3 votes -

ISSUE: On iPhone, closing the keyboard causes the document to zoom very close
Intermittently, on iPhone when you close the keyboard (DONE button), the keyboard closes but the document zooms way in.

Hi Proton team,
It would be great to have a simple built-in diagram feature in Proton Docs — something lightweight to create quick flowcharts or concept maps directly in a document. Nothing complex, just basic shapes and connections to visualize ideas easily without leaving the editor.

share multiple albums in one go
I'm moving from onedrive to proton, I've uploaded a lot of photo folders, but now I would like to share them with my family. I need a way to select all 100+ groups, I don't want to do that one by one.. And it also say's groups? But if I add my familly group it's not recognised?

Ability to overwrite a file
Currently if editing a file in Drive with an external application (Libre Office, AndrOpen Office, etc) there is no way to save the file. I have to "Save As", delete the original and rename the new one. Contacted support and was given the usual "This is how it is, it may be fixed in a future version¨. I say this is a bug that should have been caught in alpha testing and frankly I'm shocked that I'm the first to mention this here.

assigning rules from inbox
Would be good to have the ability to assign mails out of the inbox directly to rules. Rules is such a powerful tool to organize mails. However, assigning via the detour of using setup makes it a bit inconvenient.

Option needed when unsharing a folder
When unsharing a folder, there should be a confirmation prompt asking: do you also want to remove sharing from all subfolders?
In the “Shared” section, it’s not possible to select multiple files and remove sharing for all of them at once. You can only unshare files one by one. Please add the ability to select multiple items and unshare them in bulk.

Printing on iOS
Am I missing something or is it really not possible to print (or at least export to PDF) in the iOS Proton Drive app? "Open in Browser" does not help, either - at least in Firefox. So, there is no way to print/export a Proton Drive document on an iPad or iPhone?

Some way to know my work on a doc is saved
I need to know that my changes have been saved before I close out of a document. Like neat little blue or green checkmark in a corner next to the word "Saved". Thanks.

Ability to Specify Margins in Docs
An option to set margins is very important when you have specific formatting requirements to meet for school assignments and publishing or contest submissions.
