Synchronize Standard Notes files in a specific folder of Proton Drive. At the moment all my files at on Proton Drive except my Standard Notes. I would love if those could be save (sync) there too.

Migration/Import tool for Google Sheets
I am trying to de-Google but it is exceedingly difficult to migrate my Google Sheets. There is no way to import apart from exporting as xlsx files, uploading them to Drive, then within the Drive web UI, opening them in Sheets. For simple ones, I tried copying/pasting the entire sheet, but it loses all formulas and effectively pasts only values.

Proton Sheets - Currency Entries - CHF
The default currencies don’t include Swiss Francs (CHF). Sadly missed in a Switzerland-based app. I know it can be configured as user configured currency, but it cannot be added as a default, and it shows without space between ‚CHF‘ and the amounts.

Simple "record" macros/scripts in Sheets
Please add recordable macros to let us automate simple repeated tasks in Sheets, for instance by recording a sequence of actions. And be able to save it, edit it, and assign a hot-key to it.
This simple but basic ability in "Not Evil, Really, We Swear" Drive/Sheets has recently been moved behind a paywall.
I can still run my old macros, but I can't edit them (for instance, to edit which rows or columns are being sorted).1 vote -
Proton Drive - merge/sync the Photos and Drive content
Right now, files uploaded through the Photos interface don't automatically appear in a dedicated folder within my main Drive structure. Similarly, photos I store manually in specific Drive directories aren't fully recognized by the Photos tab. This forces users to choose between two parallel workflows instead of having one unified experience.

Proton Sheets charts should support open notation
Imagine you have a sheet with two columns: dates and values. You want to create a chart with this data, so you do. You intend to add to this data over time and would like the chart to automatically change with it, so you set the following for the Axis Title (=Data!A2:A) and the Value (=Data!B2:B)

Slow load time, Checkboxes, iPad functionality
Several changes to Docs.
- Too slow to load
- Checkboxes should be checkable when in view mode
- One tap to position cursor on iPad, currently requires 2 and often loses focus

Move to folder function on Proton drive web interface should allow moves between personal and shared folders
When I move a file using the Move to Folder function on the Proton Drive web interface, it only allows files to be moved within their current folders...personal files stay within 'my files' and shared files must stay within their shared folder. Files should be able to be moved between any directory that the user has access to. Or there should be administrative settings to configure these 'Move to Folder' behaviors.

Ability to set default saved file location for docs and sheets
It would be cool to be able to set the default save file location for documents and sheets.
Currently, the default location is the catch-all "My Files". But this ends up feeling cluttered because this contains my folders as well as every document or spreadsheet I've created.
I know I can go back and constantly clean up My Files by moving all of these documents into a folder (for example, I created a folder called "spreadsheets"), but it would be nice to not have to retroactively do this all the time. Thanks.

Proton Drive integration with Ubiquiti Protect Off Site-Archiving
Ubiquiti allows on their Unifi Dream Router 7 and other devices, to use cloud services to upload footage for off-site archiving. I'd like to see Proton integrate with this option for automated secure storage of these files for archive.

CLI - Authentication with no user interaction
Currently, before running any CLI commands one needs to manually authenticate on the browser -- which pretty much kills any chance of meaningful automation.
One (surely very sensible and common) use case is adding a full back up to one's shutdown routine. This cannot be done if it requires manual authentication because the user will fire the command and leave the computer, so he will not be able to authenticate. Proton Sheets - New Feature and Improvement of an old one
I have migrated all my files from Google Drive to Proton Drive, and am happy with the security Proton provides. However there are a few features that I found don't work in Proton Sheets that I relied on in Google Sheets.
Please add a Group function in Proton Sheets - this is the Excel function where you can hide / unhide a group of rows or columns with one click. Many of my Excel sheets that I moved to Google Sheets use this functionality but this is not a feature in Proton Sheets currently.

More granular user rights for shared albums
Sharing an album lets you set viewing or editor rights to other users. It would be nice to:
- let other people add and remove their own uploaded photos to the shared album, and
- not giving them the right to remove my uploaded photos.

Larger folder limits
I have several folders (associated with an application) that are syncing (or rather, failing to sync) through Proton Drive. The error message in the Drive Windows app is "Folder limit reached. To continue adding more files, create a subfolder.". I don't know how many files are in the folder, what the "limit" is, or even whether the limit is based on number of files or space occupied by the files. Sheets - Value in cell 0 and Null should be different
Right now in Proton Sheet, when we you the IF command for a certain value in a cell, the 0 and the null are the same. I want to show something in a cell if a different cell shows 0, but nothing if that cell has nothing in it. Right now, the 0 in the cell is showing like it has nothing in it.

This creates a psychological barrier — people don’t want to change a global setting that affects every app on their phone.
Because of this, cloud‑storage apps like Proton Drive end up receiving converted JPEGs instead of the original HEIC files, even when users think they’re backing up originals.

Adding Storage in increments
I am intrigued by the Proton Unlimited plan but am only allowed 500GB of storage. One Drive gives me 1TB with a subscription to Office 365, but allows for the option to purchase additional storage tiers ($9.99/1TB)
iCloud+ is even better with being able to purchase plans in 2TB increments for $9.99/mo and lac out to 12TB
For users of the Unlimited and higher plans, make it easier for users to get more storage in increments if needed.
