Delete photos from within albums
Currently, there is no way to delete a photo completely from within an album, you have to hunt the photo down in "all" to delete it. Would be nice if we didn't have to do this :)

Cannot Share Multiple Photos at Once
Today we can share photos one by one.
When I pick a single photo and tap the three little dots in the lower‑right corner, a “Share” button shows up. This lets me send the photo to other apps such as WhatsApp, SMS, etc.
But when I select several photos, there is no way to share them to other apps. That’s really disappointing.1 vote -
Enable automatic resolution adjustment of photos to save space
The automatic sync of photos from a phone to Proton Drive is very useful. The Drive space fills up fast though because the photos resolution is kept unchanged when backing up a photo to Drive.
It would be very useful to add a feature (allowing the user to activate or deactivate it) to automatically adjust the resolution of the back-up to save space. In the vast majority of cases, a much lower resolution than the original photo is more than enough, so this would save many users a lot of space.1 vote -
Inboxes
Maybe this does exist already and I just can't find how to enable it. I'd like to be able to share a folder with other people to which they can only write. It could just be an additional folder access control setting on top of editor and viewer. The use case I am thinking of is secure remote logging, specifically for scripts used by multisig wallet signers.

Allow adding photos from Proton Drive to Albums in the web interface
Currently, there's no way to add photos that are already stored in Proton Drive to Photos when using the web interface. The only options are:
- Use the iOS or Android app
- Upload directly from your computer to Photos
Requested feature: Add the ability to browse Proton Drive and select existing photos/videos to add to an album, directly from the web interface.
Bonus: Ideally, this should work by reference rather than creating a duplicate. Adding a photo from Drive to an album shouldn't consume twice the storage quota.
Use case:Users who have already uploaded and organized photos in Proton Drive shouldn't need to switch to a mobile device or re-upload files just to add them to an album. This is especially relevant for users who primarily use the web interface or are working with large batches of photos already in Drive.

Support creating nested folders with path syntax (mkdir -p style)
When creating a new folder, allow users to enter a path with forward slashes to create the entire folder hierarchy in one step.
Example:
EnteringPhotos/Events/2021_09_Wedding/Aperitifin the "Folder name" input would create all four nested folders at once.Expected behavior:
- Folders that already exist are silently skipped
- Only missing folders in the path are created
- Works likemkdir -pon Linux/macOSWhy this helps:
Currently, organizing files into a deep folder structure requires creating each folder individually, navigating into it, then creating the next one. This is tedious when setting up a new hierarchy or importing files that need proper organization. A simple path syntax would save significant time and clicks. When creating a new folder, allow users to enter a path with forward slashes to create the entire folder hierarchy in one step.

Docs automatic text substitutions
I'd like to be able to make my own automatic text substitutions (like typing 'e to get é or ml1 to get ♂). Like, I should be able to open up my personal library of custom substitutions.

Docs image resize details
Although it is easy to re-size an image in Proton Docs, I'd like to be able to AT LEAST see the pixel or inch count (height, width) of the image.

Basic Highlighting!
The highlighting feature as-is is very limited: why can't I just choose the background color and the text color separately? I would literally like to "highlight" a section of text in yellow, and I can't just pick black text with yellow background. Please allow more basic options or basic flexibility, instead of only a certain pre-built text / color combinations. Thanks!

Configure periodic sync of a file?
Is there any type of configuration option for proton drive to periodically back up a specific file, as opposed to backing up only files for which the date/time/size has changed?
For an encrypted container such as created by truecrypt or veracrypt, the date/time/size don't change even though the contents of the container are modified. Is there a way to configure proton drive to, for example, back up a specific file once a week?
Thanks

See backup status of uploaded documents
I think it would be nice to see the upload status/percentage for each file as it’s being uploaded. This is especially helpful when adding a folder as a backup in the “My Computer” tab or when uploading large swaths of files.

Proton Docs: Increase File Size Limit
I have some documents with a lot of images that I'd like to migrate to Proton Docs, and they far exceed the current limit. It'd be nice if the size of the docs could be only limited by how much Proton Drive storage I have left (which is hundreds of GB), instead of 25 MB per doc.

Provide an option to enable pooled storage.
In Duo or Family, currently we can split the available storage between users.
This is problematic because i would constantly watch out for free space and play with the allocation slider. Why??
I think there should be an option to share the whole available storage space, so that it becomes pooled. The data could still be separated or shared optionally between the users.
I know there was probably some reason to set this.up the way it is now, but it's always nice to have an option.

One Click Only To Open PD Items On Phone
It currently takes two clicks to open photos and PDFs in the PD phone app. The first click is the download and the second click is the decryption. I think it’s fair to assume a user that clicks on an item wants to open it, so all processes involved in the opening of that file should be accomplished with a single click.
Thanks for the hard work and taking user feedback! The applications are great.

Delete Multiple Pre-Selected Items in Trash without Deleting Everything.
Allow CTRL+Click and Shift+Click to select individual items and/or a range of items. Then click the Trash Can Icon (currently not there!) to delete only the selected items and keep the rest.
Otherwise, doing one at a time with verification is tedious.4 votes
